QUOTE(Prissy Elf @ Jun 6 2018, 02:27 PM) My SP also covers up the sensors but I don't use iris scanner so not sure if it's affected. I think most probably won't function since it's quite sensitive. Won't work if wearing glasses. For me, during setup I take off the glasses but afterwards I can wear it with little effect. Can unlock with glasses. I suppose you should find a SP with opening at the sensors?

QUOTE(Chester77 @ Jul 20 2018, 10:12 PM) Just updated but dont know what improvement. But i saw the sammy switch app appear during installing. Anyway i also update my A7 to oreo n notice it free up my storage by 1Gb using oreo system. By the way. How is batt performance? Mine i think about same using oreo n nougat for FE Battery for me is either the same or maybe slightly worse. Still wouldn't last for 2 days, I end my day @ 14hrs usage @ 2hrs SOT @ 40-45% remaining

QUOTE(Alexdino @ Jul 27 2018, 09:51 AM) anyone with problem on cell standby drain? Yes. I think this is a common issue with Note FE in Oreo. Especially once your phone is loaded with plenty of apps.

Another update just dropped. Now with Aug 2018 security. Wondering with the new modem do we still get cell standby drain or not, but I’m not holding my breath.

Today I had a weird 20mins whereby the GPS keep turning itself on and off repeatedly at around lunch time. I had to reset and it went away. Recently I notice that GPS keeps turning on and off (but maybe just once in a while).
Anyone else?

my first review of PIE in One UI. Battery life seems normal. Fingerprint scanner is much more steady and accurate, I'd say its close to chinese phones from 1 year ago (lol).
Camera app looks more slick.

QUOTE(wenshun @ Apr 15 2019, 10:35 PM) Pie update seems to fix the mobile data battery drain on my FE, after whole day with data on the battery still half full with 2.5 hours screen on time. Digi has wifi calling in this Pie update, but still no VoLTE call. Took out my sim card and swapped another sim card, no VoLTE too.. how to enable or disable or find wifi calling? I wonder if my Celcom supports this. For me its more important than VoLTE.

QUOTE(wenshun @ Apr 16 2019, 10:32 PM) For me its in Settings > Connections, just under the WiFi setting. Inside can choose On or Off, then Wifi or Mobile Data preferred. Thanks. Celcom no Volte and no VoWifi

Guys I found a bug / issue. If you have secure boot enabled (need pin to restart) and auto restart scheduled, the alarm won’t ring.

Android PIE is such a mess on Note FE. It can't even complete to update a single app in playstore if you leave the phone alone, it'll kill the process.
I had to to manually keep the screen alive for > 30mins to update a big list of apps.
