Any insurance expert here?
My GE now paying quarterly, if i change it to monthly(and let JOP autobill) will it effect my GE cash value in future? because last time i am GE agent, and i use their software to generate my future cash value return table, quarterly is higher than monthly. is it due to processing fee or anything else? QUOTE(mcricky @ Jun 10 2019, 07:44 PM) Not expert, just share my knowledge told by my agent, correct me if I'm wrong if any expert here. Maybe i can clarify the last statement,For those investment link product, if you change your frequency mode of payment i.e from annual to half year or quarter or monthly it won't affect your premium payment amount as it's divided accordingly. But for those non investment link product, you'll be charged processing fee: 0%for annual, 2% for half year, 3% for quarter and 5% for monthly. And for those who plan to change to monthly mode, it won't effect immediately next month, it will only effect on your next policy anniversary date. For ILP change monthly/quarterly/yearly pay can be effect next bill. because i change GE,and prudential before. (non investment link product i not sure) This post has been edited by sl3ge: Jun 10 2019, 08:00 PM |

QUOTE(HMMaster @ Jun 22 2019, 12:20 PM) From what my insurance agent told me, it will affect the cash value if pay monthly, since you basically invest less time. Just like you either put your money in 12months FD OR you put the FD monthly. Pay monthly Invest less time meaning? But the difference I think should be negligible. My agent suggest to take the OCBC GE card which will pay 1 year lump sump and auto convert to installment. |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Aug 9 2019, 11:48 AM) Saw AF posted in my latest statement which I have expected to appear this month, so as per last CS' advice to contact them only after seeing it appear. Hi bro,Contacted CS via live chat and she has put a request for waiver, she said it will be approved but I can check back in one business day. Let's see. Do u swipe RM20k for both of ur JOP and CashBack card, in order to get AF waiver? This post has been edited by sl3ge: Aug 12 2019, 02:04 PM |
