I request my Standard Chartered Liverpool card cancellation last week, received a call today (less than 2 weeks) regarding card cancellation. Before i could give a reason for cancelling, got offer (waive annual fee but not SST) to spend RM200 by end of this month and get RM50 cashback by end of June. End the call with the offer accepted and cancelling the card cancellation request. rclxms.gif

If you redeemed the RM60 cashback before cancel the card then no issue.

Yes, apply new card again after 1 year should be consider as new customer(6 months normally, depend on term and condition).

If negative balance means the bank owe you then you cancel the card (one card) then its loss, no credit to you (from my understanding from user comment).

I request for cancel 3 months before anniversary month (annual fee charge) and 2 month before SST charge.
