Since I have both JOP anf LFC.
So I ask my eligibility of annual fee waiver.
From the system - my JOP shows eligible for annual fee waiver but my LFC no.
Then I ask isn't JOP change its TnC in Jun/July that no longer annual fee waiver for purchases above RM20,000 - she said yes but from system JOP still eligible for waiver (for me).
JOP applied - January 2019
LFC applied - August 2019
Both annual fee will be charge in January 2019 (as per her system) and I can call back in January after AF charged to ask waiver for JOP, but not for LFC as LFC AF is not eligible for me.
Both time called, given the same answer.
When I received my LFC last month, I called up cause my expiry date was same as JOP so I will get charged even before 1 year. She told me able to waive, just call on January for AF. But didn't mention about the RM25 la, but oh well will ask for that as well on January.
My situation pretty similar with you though, the LFC not even a year actually.
