As I know, even the expiry date follow first card, the SST and AF still charge based on issue date.. same goes for my case.. my JOP expiry shown as Aug, follow LFC, but my LFC get charge on SST, but none so far for JOP..

anyone manage to get SST waiver (cashback) for first year? i just received my liverpool card and call the CS, they said first year cannot give waiver(cashback), only 2nd year onwards.

a few months ago when i receive my JOP, they said since i applied thru ringgitplus, which usually come with gifts, so SST cannot waive (cashback).

Most of us here hold many credit cards. I have 4 banks, MBb 2, SCB 2, PBB 2, affin 1. Semua earn cb. Nothing new.

Call CS to change statement date of LFC to be same as JOP.

Really? All my three cards are in one statement, share same statement date. 

I asked twice and they said that the eligibility can only be confirmed after AF has been charged...

My application for JOP & LFC has just been approved. When the CS called to verify, he said I can call to waive the AF next year for JOP but stated clearly that AF for LFC cannot be waived. I'd have to pay & get the t-shirt or can cancel the card if I'm not willing to pay. Sounds like they won't entertain any threaten to cancel anymore.

Let's wait for the outcome of your request next month. Just hope that the CS who called me was "talking big" only. Wish you luck. 😊

They can't confirm how to become eligible - as they just see from the system.

Since I have both JOP anf LFC.

So I ask my eligibility of annual fee waiver.

From the system - my JOP shows eligible for annual fee waiver but my LFC no.

Then I ask isn't JOP change its TnC in Jun/July that no longer annual fee waiver for purchases above RM20,000 - she said yes but from system JOP still eligible for waiver (for me).

JOP applied - January 2019
LFC applied - August 2019

Both annual fee will be charge in January 2019 (as per her system) and I can call back in January after AF charged to ask waiver for JOP, but not for LFC as LFC AF is not eligible for me.

Both time called, given the same answer.
