every month got spend, ever since i start to use scb cashback gold card, scb originally gave me the highest CL 29k among all card i have, uob 2nd.


i intend to add one more card scb justone, as gonna spend alot with new house and household will have newest addition soon

but got mention for JustOne Gold Mastercard credit card upgrade.

Effective 1 June 2018, existing Standard Chartered JustOne Gold Mastercard credit cardholders will be upgraded to Standard Chartered JustOne Platinum Mastercard credit card which offers more than RM1,000 cashback a year on retail spend.The new JustOne Platinum Mastercard credit card (and supplementary card(s) if any) will be mailed to cardholders by 31 July 2018. The new card will bear the same 16-digit number as the cardholder’s existing card.

The JustOne Platinum Mastercard credit card upgrade will come with an annual fee of RM265 (inclusive of 6% GST) effective 1 June 2019, and the annual fee will be automatically waived with a minimum spend of RM20,000 per annum.

1. depends how soon your insurance company process the money transfer
2. depends on whether your bank also stanchart
3. if your bank also stanchart, then should be instantly, provided your insurance company going to transfer the money to you
4. if your bank not stanchart, then, depends whether your insurance company using normal transfer or instant transfer (IBFT), if normal transfer, depends on which hour of the day your insurance company perform the transfer, if instant transfer, then, your bank account will received the money instantly.

if you dont understand what i had stated above, please call your insurance company, ask them when will you receive your money.

so far both mcD and aeon support both paywave n paypass, i assume so long the terminal support contactless card then no issue

june spending will only get cashback mid of july

from 1st year you must spend 20k each of your card then only 2nd year af will be waived

i was told its auto waived after min spent annually but the cs told me to call if it wasn't waived, shouldn't be any problem to waive as per tnc

i can't remember exactly how long the gap was, definitely within 6 months though, 1st try was calling SCB CS to add additional card JOP, then no news since...
then in august, as i couldn't resist JOP CB, i use scb online to apply for JOP then 1 or 2 days later received call from scb, a very friendly girl, told me i no need to submit supp docs and just need to do some verification over the phone, few days later approved...

was told by fellow sifu here its based on transaction date, in scb online don't have posting date...
