An update for this case. Someone from SCB called my sister and offered to spend 3x any amount and they will absorb the SST, she can cancel the card later after RM 25 is credited.
So, either she pays for RM 25 for SST or spend 3x to get it absorbed.

Of course, we are going to spend 3x.
*
Oh so only threaten to cancel works eh? Then again if they don't want to retain then can kiss the CB goodbye.

Don't understand your question but yes we can change our mind to keep the card.

In case SCB really doesn't want to retain and proceed to block the card.

After 1st July, if I only can meet the online criteria spending, I'm guessing topping up 1k to BP is the highest cashback i can get which is 3%, correct?
*
Topping up 1k to BP only gives you 5% CB and capped at RM12, which is only 1.2%. If you want to get the max cap RM30, you would also need to spend min RM2.5k which is also 1.2% CB only.

ya i thought no details was given until today?

Amount CB % CB Amount
999 0.2 1.998
499 5 24.95
32 10 3.2
1530 30.148
under new structure, if just use for online (topup), then just spend RM1530 to get max of RM30 CB...  dry.gif

QUOTE(MGM @ Jun 24 2019, 11:09 PM)
I thought someone mentioned top-up RM1530 to BP to get rm30 cb.
*
You mean this post? Nah this is similar to Alliance You:unique CB scheme, SCB CB scheme is still the same.

QUOTE(koala225 @ Jun 24 2019, 11:12 PM)
No. u only get max capped rm28. Unless u top up 2.5k u will get max rm30.
*
Bingo.

QUOTE(janson_kaniaz @ Jun 24 2019, 11:18 PM)
Thanks. Didn’t realize another cap of RM12.
I guess RM1.5k topup to BP gives the best rate then. about 1.9%.
*
I still like this card, so I will put in some effort and head to petrol station to reload RM200 of TnG every month to gain RM60. Auto bill is a bit hard for me because sometimes I overhit RM200 sometimes I don't.

if you overhit just top up less on bigpay. you don't need to up bigpay on day 1 of month
*
Yeah that works, but if it is less than RM200 then I still have to go reload TnG sweat.gif

Do we need to pay annual fee for Justone plat now? Can it be waivwrd? I doubt I spent 20k
*
I usually maximize the spending of RM2.5k per month so no problem hitting RM20k annually, as the benefit of the card has been reduced if you are not aiming for RM60 per month CB, then might as well cut the card because minus AF and SST the effective CB will be even lesser.

Yeah you're right. So does it means I'm correct? Even AEON big card is better in that case. RM25 max with 2% CB for online transaction.
*
Add in petrol and/or autobill for additional RM30 CB to get 2.4%, excluding AF and SST.

If looking at the benefit of e-wallet only Ambank TruVisa and AEON big Visa Gold are both much better right?
*
Yup, but if you are like me who maxed out all the CC CB from e-wallets then it is a good addition.

Just a reminder to you guys pumping petrol and any online transaction this week are not counted to this month petrol/online quota as this month quota is based on usage from 2nd week of the month till 1st week of next month.
*
Errr...are you sure? You might need to check back the TnC.

yes, to be sure getting the correct quota, avoid any transaction on 1st week of the month
*
We were going around advising people better to avoid any transaction towards the end of the month, not 1st week of the month.

Nevermind, you do you.

Actually this is what i worry yesterday :\

"Like What about those transaction of first week of August? Is it under July or August"
*
Simple, if your transaction date = July only and posting date = July + 1st week of Aug, then sit back and wait for that RM60 CB.

Right now I would still keep the JOP even with the revision, RM60 cb with just RM200 spending on Petrol/Autobill, which is equivalent to about 29% cb after factor in SST. Prior to the revision it was RM85 free money. The rest of the spending goes to BP/Boost and cash out.

that can't be a proof yet, should start from this month spend on 1st week, next month 2nd week, third month 1st week and so forth and check whether you got the full CB in or not
*
Why not you try then update us whether you get July CB for transaction(s) you do in 1st week of Aug, while I will test whether 1st week transaction(s) CB falls in the same month. cheers.gif

If my monthly insurance premium is RM346, is BigPay RM2154 + insurance RM346 going to get me RM60 rebate?
*
If your insurance is auto debit then yes.
You can go from:
(Petrol + Autobill = RM200) + (Online = RM2300)
to
(Petrol + Autobill = RM2300) + (Online = RM200)

Any amount in the middle will also grant you RM60 CB, just need to calculate and adjust accordingly.
