QUOTE(prime27 @ Jul 2 2021, 08:10 PM) Just gotten mine through email and sms. Yes correct only at checkout. Can't redeem and keep for later. But if you don't use your code now, you can use it later as wellHow to redeem first before use? It seems only can insert voucher code in checkout page, I can't found where to insert in "My Voucher" page (or any page other than checkout?) prime27 liked this post

Declined as I simply wanted to terminate. |

QUOTE(Ayanot @ Sep 11 2019, 04:13 PM) Hi all, Any idea if Great Eastern ePay auto billing is considered as online spend as well?Anyone tried auto pay Great Eastern insurance via JOP? Is it entitled cashback under auto bill category? How about TimeDotCom (Time Internet) auto billing, as well as TNB? Are these considered utilities spend, or online spend? Are they considered auto billing as well in terms of cashback category? This post has been edited by contestchris: Nov 9 2021, 11:14 AM |

QUOTE(ClarenceT @ Nov 9 2021, 11:20 AM) Auto billing is auto/direct debit, the transaction is initiated by the merchant. Okay, in that case, do auto billing transaction qualify for another category? Example TNB auto billing, is it considered utility spend? Same with Time auto billing, is it utility spend? And Great Eastern auto billing, is it considered insurance spend?Online transaction can only be initiated by the card user, then go through verification such as OTP or SSL. But a payment transaction initiated by card user may not be recorded as an online transaction, because you may submit your card details online to the merchant, then the merchant direct debit the card as per the order. On that note, for online food spend (such as Dominos), is it also considered a "dining" spend? I'm a bit confused on the treatment of online and auto billing spend (i.e., if they qualify for a spend category or not (like dining, utilities, insurance etc)). Hi guys, thinking of applying with the RM600 promo through SCB website. One question: If my total spend is only RM50 across 8 txn, will I still get RM600 cashback? Will it mean my account will have "positive balance"? And is this cashback direct into the credit card account, or in their stupid separate cashback account?

Guys, does SCB still practice a separate cashback account, from which you gotta "redeem" the cashback into your main card account? I'm referring to the SCB Smart Credit card.
Also, for the sign up bonus of RM600, will it be credited into the cashback account, or directly into the credit card account? Thanks! |

Got my Smart Credit Card approved after nearly 2 weeks.
I have a question from the 15% cashback campaign: All cashback will be credited into the Eligible Cardholder’s principal Smart Card account as determined by the Bank within twelve (12) weeks after the end of the Campaign Period. No cashback will be credited to any supplementary card account. Smart Card account here means directly into the credit card account, or separately into the 360 Rewards account? Because early last year they had a similar campaign but the cashback was posted into a separate account, and we had to manually (and tediously) transfer it into the main card account. But I can't remember the wording then, and am wondering if it's the same system here. |

QUOTE(sjz @ Sep 25 2022, 09:05 AM) yes. My order using SCB voucher is auto cancelled on Shopee. So damn stupid man!!!the so called apps approval is stupid. period. actually the idea is good, but the implemtation is very bad. like we discuss previously, esp transaction involving other bank, it would be hit-or-miss approach where sometimes even you click approved in SC apps, the merchant won't capture anything, end out transaction failed. and need to redo, and it could be successful this time. sjz liked this post

QUOTE(Sonnet Porky @ Oct 10 2022, 09:07 PM) Hey everyone, be careful when using a Standard Chartered card for online purchases on brand's websites, Standard Chartered will charge a 1% oversea fee despite the website is the Malaysia version of the brand charging in Ringgit Malaysia, I've kena with Apple Malaysia's and Charles & Keith Malaysia's websites. Called the bank and they said because the charged terminal is oversea or something, which is an unsatisfactory explanation to me. Hmm surely they cannot impose a charge that is not known beforehand, no? If I were you, I would escalate the matter all the way to BNM and demand a refund of said charges. It doesn't happen on all websites but there's zero indicator prior to whether you'll be charged an oversea fee or not, you'll only know after they post the transaction which is already too late. Just because a website is selling in RM doesn't mean you can avoid the 1% oversea charge, and it can be quite a lot if you're making a big purchase. I've started to use other banks for new websites, only use Standard Chartered on physical shops and maybe Shopee. |

Guys, did anyone apply for SC credit card under their online sign-up campaign of RM200/RM400 cashback? If yes, have you received your cashback? How long did you wait for? Did they post the cashback directly into the credit card account, or need to redeem separately from 360 Rewards?
