QUOTE(topipio @ Dec 15 2019, 01:46 AM) Thank you for your prompt reply. How can I find out the statement date? Meaning that I only need to pay RM1655.65 before 28 and no interest will be charged on the current bill? As for the total spending I checked my transaction the total amount is only about RM3,300 but based on the balance show is RM4100 Why not you just download the estatement since you already login to the page? Make a habit to keep all the credit card statements. This post has been edited by caesarx: Dec 15 2019, 08:33 AM

QUOTE(vex @ Feb 5 2020, 05:40 PM) U top up boost, but it doesn't count the JO minimum spending of 2500, I miss 2 month of rm 60 already... T.T I top up big pay rm2300, and petrol rm200, total rm2500. Every month claims rm60 cash back. I'm not sure why yours 0 CB, at least should have some CB under online transaction.

QUOTE(xeon1989 @ Mar 2 2020, 12:44 PM) Approval is fast if you already have accounts with SC. Yes, but non of other banks are that fast, before I had applied my seconds card from Maybank, PBB, UOB, but never this fast, all need to fill form and prepare the necessary documents. QUOTE(potatoisnotwasabi @ Mar 9 2020, 09:37 AM) Hey guys, just want to ask how does the digital activation works? After I apply, how long does it take for me to be able to activate digitally? And also can I self collect my credit card from the nearest branch? Thanks! You can do digital activation once you received SMS stating your card is approved. Login into SCB online banking and do activation to new card tru there, then you will receive a popup showing your card details. Then can use the card digitally, ie register ewallet, online payment, as long as not involve physical card. You cannot collect at nearest bank as your card may not at that branch. Usually it will post to your address. This post has been edited by caesarx: Mar 9 2020, 01:15 PM

QUOTE(whycanot323 @ Jun 24 2020, 02:49 PM) if statement keluar AF liao, i call to cancel the card, AF still need to pay ? You still dont have the card, already worry about AF ? If you get charge AF, then stop using it, wait until cashback is in then cancel. For example, if your card anniversary is in July 2020, then u don't use the card at all in July, wait for the July Statement, if there is AF charges, wait until u get the cash back for June 2020, then u can call CS.

Just want to ask something about interest charges on the outstanding of JOP CC. I paid my amount wrongly last month and there was RM 20 outstanding balance, this month they charge me RM42.05 interest at 15%pa, how is the calculation? Any sifu free to show me how is the calculation before the bank call me few days later?
In the statement says "Finance charges are calculated on the outstanding amount on a daily basis."

I just checked my history for request AF waiver in online banking website, in Dec 2021, they replied unable to waive, and offer waive 50% or 100% with BT. But retention team called and waive full AF after that. in 2022 direct full waived within a week after i sent online request. From the info above, look like this year not easy even to reach them.

I have a question For SC Simply Cash, if I has a refund for part of a transaction in Oct but the refund posted on Nov, the refund will offset the min spending for Oct or Nov? I had spent the same amount as the refund amount in Oct to safeguard Oct cashback. QUOTE(TongCN @ Nov 4 2024, 08:22 AM) Normally SST will be charged together with annual fee, right? Cause my journey card just kenak SST on 30 Oct 2024 but no see Annual Fee, hmm.. (Which happened to last year as well) Normally SST charge appear in statement same with ur card expired month, Annual Fee will be in next month statement. QUOTE(TongCN @ Nov 4 2024, 10:32 AM) It will as the cashback normally generate later so they have time to do the counting for min spend I got "rebate" from my AIA monthly auto charge which SCB treat it as "refund" during June So my June rebate getting lesser. Hmm, ok, gonna monitor and hopefully kosong It will charge Annual fee in the statement if your card has it, but you can request for waiver later, for SC card still big possibility to get full waiver unless your card has criteria to meet the annual fee waiver like annual spend amount or annual transaction counts, which I just cut after 1 year of using due to cannot met the waiver requirement.

Anyone of you cancelling SC card after annual fee is charged? How they credit back the annual fee payment if we made payment for the total statement amount which inclusive of annual fee? Cos if not include the annual fee, the cancellation tru app cannot go tru cos got outstanding balance.
Annual spending >RM30k for many years still cannot get annual fee waiver, the reply from secure mail also dono when they will reply, need check everyday when free.
Waiver Request sent on 19/12 only reply by 24/12. Then I send cancellation request until today still not receive reply. Dislike this bank after they limit the channel for communication, last time got live chat channel and should maintain it.

QUOTE(ixole @ Jan 3 2025, 04:45 PM) Hello, I have SC visa platinum cc. I am curious what is the definition of online spending in order to entitled for 5k reward points if spend min RM1.5k per billing cycle? Is it include all transactions that I made with the card? Such as utility, ewallet reload etc? Stated was ewallet reload, online retails should have, not confirm for utilities, telco, and gov.
