QUOTE(loongzai2 @ Jan 19 2019, 01:09 PM) Did you guys top up big pay with JOP then withdraw it out after getting cashback? Any chances will get barred on Big Pay card if just for topup and withdraw in routine? Yes. Don’t do it if you don’t want to get into trouble

QUOTE(TimWiese @ Feb 11 2019, 03:59 PM) Noted, what a bad news for us. Wondering to cut now before the next statement to avoid unnecessary annual fee.... One year u get RM600 cashback from them (RM50 per month). Still u earn wat even if you pay annual fee.

QUOTE(skysboyz @ Feb 26 2019, 03:16 PM) Recently has a bad experiences with SCB. Was accidentally late for 2 days after paymeny due date and request for interest fee waiver. After 2 trial they insist that interest fees cannot be waived. Anyone has same incident before and successfully get the interest fees waived? Yup. Mine too. Interest of nearly RM50 because i overlooked one transaction when I pay in full before statement is even generated. Called them and they are strict and say SC doesn’t waive interest anymore. I requested for a callback from their manager. One day later manager called me and I explained nicely to her. I told her if my request was denied I will consider move all my assets to other bank. Few days later interest was reversed.

Means if I reload RM2300 on bigpay and RM200 on petrol.... it will max out RM60 cashback right? OK la not too bad only if they waive AF when we threaten to cancel. If need to pay AF, screw it i'm cancelling it.

QUOTE(estcin @ Jun 7 2019, 03:08 PM) Online capped at RM30. So RM2500 BP for RM30. Alternatively, RM2300 BP + RM200 petrol = RM60 Sometimes 1 month I don't even use RM200 worth of petrol. Only around RM120

QUOTE(ClarenceT @ Jun 7 2019, 02:56 PM) I didn't say that. RM2100 can be anything that will give 0% CB. Expected, not only for SC cards. More to come. 18 months to go before the credit card fee is reduced to max 0.48% only on 1/1/2021. All these CC fee keep reducing only gives advantage to retailer. User get what advantage? All the goodies by using credit card getting lesser and lesser

QUOTE(OKLY @ Jul 18 2019, 05:47 PM) I have 2 SC cards, Liverpool and JustOne. I accidentally mixed up the amount and transferred to wrong accounts between this two. So my JustOne has excess payment and Liverpool has not enough payment. I spoke to CS and they said they will help to transfer but it will take 3 days. My due date just passed and she said I will be charged the late payment fees/interest. Anyone has successfully appealed for such cases before? Technically I paid in full for my total combined statement, just to the wrong accounts. Call their customer service and explain. Ask them to put in an interest waiver for you. Hopefully it will get granted.

QUOTE(tan_aniki @ Jul 23 2019, 01:50 PM) wow, seriously? if can't waive then straight away cancel lo, after that apply again you can save a lot from paying the AF JOP - RM250 LFC - RM175 stop one month you just lost RM50 + RM60 CB rather than paying RM425... You think so easy? You didn't know once you cancel and try to apply back bank will reject?

QUOTE(jefftan4888 @ Jul 23 2019, 02:14 PM) Even for the 1st time application, with my previous good track records with SCB (at one time used to be priority banking customer), it still took almost 2 months to get approved for both cards. I think cancel & reapply the same cards within short period not so easy. You're right. If easy everyone will be doing the same, and nobody needs to pay AF anymore. I cancelled my SC credit card few years ago and it took me more than 1.5 year for them to consider me again after few attempt to reapply.
