Sorry if this sounds noobie-ish, but does coating a phone prevents from dents caused by accidental drops?
*
it only does simple protection from scratches and ding. best bet would be unbox your phone at their store so u can wrap the phone in its freshest condition thumbsup.gif

Fully agreed with @silencer5089 👌 Also, coating prevents scratches, best is to combine it with good shock absorption cases.

So dilemma on iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 plus! Manage to find iPhone 7 32gb RM400 lesser than RRP. Worth?

true that.

is the battery really as good as Apple claimed? 2 hours extra from the iphone 6s or even the iphone 6? the biggest complain that i have is the battery life for the regular iphone. but the plus variance is too big for me to hold comfortably, and the price too.

for me i have both, the 7+ easily outperforms the 7, but previously when i'm using the 7, comparing to 6s it does last a tad longer. full day usage i am left with around 20% around 11pm before i go to bed
my usages are
fb browsing, mild
fb messenger heavy
wechat heavy
occasional web browsing
1-2 minute mild usage of phone calls

Ya, I'm fully aware coating prevents scratches, I'm just not sure how it would protect against drops if used without a case. You guys have answered my questions then. Thanks!

For me, the battery on my smartphone needs to get me through a full day, i.e. from the time I leave for work (6.45am) till I reach home (8.00pm most of the time but sometimes later). My usage pattern is lots of whatsapp (which in my opinion is a big battery killer), calls, occasionally browsing and FB. Once in a while I use Waze or Garmin, if necessary. So far, iPhone 6 Plus, 6S Plus and now 7 Plus has gotten the job done for me, so I can say the battery life is good. Have not tried a regular iPhone since the Plus size models were introduced biggrin.gif

Try getting the clear wrappers from the bookstore or plastic screen protectors and wrap your phone with it. Feels similar to that. I have tried it once and I dont like it because it peels after some time. Morever, dust will seep in to the sides of the protectors making the phone untidy.

Yeah, that's what I thought. Anyways, the other thing is if you have to bring the phone in for repair. Then your investment on the coating is gone, right? biggrin.gif

Was thinking of doing the coating but was told it needs half a day to a full day to complete. Maybe will resort to the book wrap technique or my wifes kotchen wrap. laugh.gif

The coating process will take approximatey an hour. Best is Not to use the phone minimally for the next 8 hours.
Like me, i off my phone for 24 hours biggrin.gif

won't gone la.. as they have lifetime warranty. just bring the phone back to redo the coating. in a condition you don't throw away your existing coating

Time to let my old Nikon 5100 go....

(Still have no idea why uploading direct from phone to LYN will result in the wrong orientation)
