This round, the shipment from Apple Store My is really slow. During the last two iterations of the iphone, the phones were shipped within 2 weeks from launch day.

Yeah this time it's slow like Kura kura. bangwall.gif

Anyone has any idea if Melaka got stock for black iPhone 7+? Whether it's Mac City or Machines or anything.
*
Try purchasing from MAC city online store. Got stock and delivery is 3-5 working days.

MAC city retail outlets don't have stock but surprisingly their online store has Limited units available.

OR

Anyways, Just a quick question, Let's say you have placed your order for i7 from Apple Online and the next day prices increase. Will u be subjected to the new price or old price since the credit card will only be charged once the phone is shipped out?
*
You will be charged on the day you place your order (old price). Coz the amount you agree to be charged will be locked by Apple under processing items stage and the amount will appear under floating under your cc bank.

Therefore, Apple will Honour you on the price offered on the said date and time of the transaction.

Anyone bought from slickwraps.com before? Already a week still mentioned processing and no movement, asking also no respond.

I never seen any website selling thing that slow, is it always that slow when purchasing thing from slickwraps.com?

By the way I am purchase the case from them not the wraps.
*
Just curious why slickwraps and not clear coat from mobile outfitters as it comes with lifetime warranty and the price difference not much also...

I have been using iPhone 7 Plus Matt Black for about one month with fully covered by a TPU casing and full screen tempered glass most of the time. I just open the casing once a week to wipe the dust off from the phone. Until yesterday when I take off the casing, and notice there is something at the edge of the phone body next to UP Volume button. At first I thought it just the dust. I try to wipe it using microfibre cloth as usual. Until I look closely it is the metal part of the body. It seems that the black anodised paint had been chipped off from the phone body. I am really disappointed with what happen to the phone because I was using it very careful.

I have chat with Apple Customer Support and it is not covered under warranty since it is under cosmetic damage. Seems that the anodised paint quality on iPhone 7 is same as what is on iPhone 5. The iPhone 7 body paint will chipped at anytime regardless you are using it very careful. Just to share with you guys  sweat.gif  sweat.gif [attachmentid=8019564][attachmentid=8019565]

Would strongly suggest to clear coat / wrap the devices to prevent such occurrences as iphone 7 device is very fragile. Protecting just with the tempered glass or screen protector will not be sufficient.

it only does simple protection from scratches and ding. best bet would be unbox your phone at their store so u can wrap the phone in its freshest condition
*
Fully agreed with @silencer5089 👌 Also, coating prevents scratches, best is to combine it with good shock absorption cases.

Was thinking of doing the coating but was told it needs half a day to a full day to complete. Maybe will resort to the book wrap technique or my wifes kotchen wrap. laugh.gif

The problem with jet black...
*
The coating process will take approximatey an hour. Best is Not to use the phone minimally for the next 8 hours.
Like me, i off my phone for 24 hours biggrin.gif
