QUOTE(jesseblue @ Nov 4 2016, 03:05 PM) Few pages back I did ask if anyone from Android uses the 'Move to iOS' app to migrate their data from Android to iOS. oh there's such apps huh?Guess it was never really well known to most and everyone did it manually. No wonder it sit at a measly rating of 2.6 in Google Play Hmm 2.6, the number sounds familiar didn't know it |

Last time all my 3rd party stuff like card reader and cables (china stuff bought from ebay) stopped working after an iOS upgrade. Seems they are not Apple certified. anybody face the same issue? So be careful if you buy non original Apple adapters. For example some trustable seller would actually mentioned what iOS their product supports http://www.lelong.com.my/apple-iphone-5-5s...7-01-Sale-I.htm "Product Specification : 100% brand new and high quality High quality & Brand new USB 2.0 to 8pin male apple cable for iPhone 5, iPod Touch 5th, iPod Nano 7th New design and flat stripe shape to fit your iPhone, iPad, iPod with Lightning connectors Charge your iDevice when connected to USB Power Adapter, wall outlet or car adapter Update your devices at with the latest music and data Durable design, improved durability Supports iTunes, Data Sync and Battery Charging Supports Apple iOS 9 " |

I would personally prefer to transfers the data via pc(cable). Transferring via that app (over the network) might takes considerable time.. Depending on the size of your data of course This post has been edited by jesseblue: Nov 4 2016, 05:54 PM |

QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Nov 4 2016, 06:33 PM) As I recalled, upgrading to a higher version of ios. (Eg ios 8 to 9) the chances of "breaking" the support of third party accessories are higher. For incremental updates, most probably it won't affect your accessories that much. |
