So does that mean that REITS normally invest directly in real estate instead of real estate stocks?
*
Bro, please google and read more on REITs. it is less risky than investing directly in real estate stocks.

How expensive also, most of the world uses Google (heck it's free) and there's where they generate ad revenue.

U need to look at Apple earnings then. Yoy is it growing? Despite what you said, safe to say.. don't need look also know most of US companies getting hit with lower earnings.

With Lower operation revenue, somemore get hit by translation.

Did a quick calculation on my IRR. 7% invested since 2013.

But Roi this year only 3%. But if I time apportion all my investment amount, it's 6.2%. Lol. Make myself feel better and take 6.2%? Haha

yes in its truest form of unit trusts investment you ignore the ripples made by changes and leverage down via DCA or VCA. the problem with Malaysia is that what should have happened doesn't happen and should not have happened happens. this is in regards to our current government who is so keen on covering the ass of one man and by doing so sacrificing the lives of millions of hard working Malaysians.

so as an investor I put my money in an entity that I trust and I believe in. currently that trust isn't forthcoming in the days or months to come.

also there are avenues for me to invest my money why do I want to place my money in Malaysia? is it because of hope? is it patriotism? or is it cheaper in a long run? do I sacrifice my chance of returns for a cheaper investment when I can return back anytime I want.

be water.

Yeah. But the 3% is taking using latest equity cost (not including CMF portion). I did a substantial top up this month. So ROI figure a bit off.

6.2% is after taking in my time apportion invested amount during the period (and I excluded my December top up figure which make sense).

Wow. So detail bro. Haha. But I was asking geographical allocation. How many % of ur portfolio is in China/HK? What sector are u positive in Asia (if u have answer for this)

Same like u, I'm betting on HK/china too.

Ur portfolio.. I have only 2 similar one only. Haha! My India exposure is super low. Maybe I should study more on Manulife fund.

CIMB Principal greater china equity too.. seen that name pop up a few times. Maybe will have a look.

7% IRR is quite good ma. ROI is not as meaningful as IRR if you have multiple transactions at different point in time

So what's your definition of a successful investment?

And how does your portfolio measure up to your own definition?

my plan is to have coverage up to 30% to 40% in Asia Pax Japan and to diversify my portfolio with a dash of property, technology also included is a moderation of equities in India and US.

there's a seminar next month in penang and kl. looks like they may be echoing what I say. need someone to attend.
