anyone know how to downgrade 3.71 M33-4 to 1.5?

i read the procedure's different than firmwares below it

i want to downgrade cos
1)i cant skip the SCE logo when booting the psp
2)my front mission 3 always hangs in the same area despite me using 3 different copies
other games like tenchu 2 wont even start

oh,and besides looking under the psp for the serial number,any other way of finding it out?(i dont have the box)

I thought you can skip SCE logo while booting PSP by modifying a setting under recovery menu?

It's under Configuration > Skip Sony Logo.

hi!! newbie here .. my fren just bought psp for my besday present.. the amoi who sold the psp told me that i can "keep" my games inside the pc and if i want to play it, i can take it out.. the problem is:

1) i try to transfer one of my games in my psp to my pc. then, when i transfer back to my psp, there is no save data inside the psp. why?
2) can u tell me the right/save way to transfer the file without losing it??

my firmware is 3.51. how to deal with this to homebrew?? please help! many thanks

game saves are stored in ur mspd, PSP/SAVEDATA/
u need to copy that.
but it took only little space in mspd.

No. My Sony's Digital Music Player A.K.A Walkman can produce better audio quality than PSP. The bass sucks and there's no way to set custom equalizer.

How 2 know when your recovery is corrupted?

yup. my samsung YP-U3 also perform much better even with stock earphone.
but PSP is not too bad.u still can enjoy listening to your favourite songs. worse when u use the internal speaker..real slow..much much much slower than playing games.

really daylight robbery.. the person whom I bought the psp from I think he'll help me upgrade the firmware for free also. It's not that difficult if you know the steps. RM100 is mad. Even 80 is also too much.

You wanna compare with iPod? Geez.. iPod is like one of the top mp3 players. Not many mp3 players can produce better sound quality than ipod. PSP sound not to say very good. If you're a music freak and you want your psp to be your mp3 player, you should start looking at other players.

try search for a china brand portable hdd call sps (something like that, but hard to get it from malaysia)

I heard from a friend saying that the 8GB aren't so stable in the PSP. Is this true? I'm planning to get an 8GB card soon. Please advice.
