Just discovered this thread.

I'm a fairly new FX, 1 year plus. Attended Mario Singh's FX training and opened an account with FXPrimus. Started with USD1000 only... Now left USD600 due to careless trading (using 1Lot, 0.5Lot, should have used smaller ones)

Still learning the ropes but I'm still optimistic...

Hope to learn from sifus in this thread for good profitable trades.

Try to trade max 2% risk for each trade. Don't be like the many victims who blow up(margin call) account after account due to greediness. The goal is to be consistently profitable and to gain a steady % returns each month instead of looking at the actual $$ gained. As you get better you can work your way up from there

start with only 0.1lot first as a beginner. thats what im still doing now. still learning.

i only do 0.01, 0.02, 0.05 and max 0.1 and still can made almost 10usd per day

what broker that got small spread? currently using Instaforex, their spread is around 30 - 120

Isit logical to use 0.01 lot for $1000 fund. Bila mau kaya.

Seems your target is $10 daily.
IMHO, small lot more trade to be done. Because we persue daily target.
Longer trading time leads to brain fatigue. Brain fatigue leads to silly mistake. Silly mistake leads to unneccesary lost.

becoz im using intsforex standard acc.. ecn sure got small spread?

I agree, however I m only risking 1%, 0.03 lot, 10-20pip profit per day at the moment.. still not yet up to 2%, any good strategies to share. thanks for advice

I don't know about instaforex, but ICMarkets ECN got low spreads. EURUSD spread is normally 0.0 - 0.3 pips but has commision fees of $5.5 per lot. So effective spread is 0.55 - 0.8 pips / lot

best strategies ever.. wait until got news.. sure pump it up..

are u using ICM be4?

What pair you are trading? Usually insta major pair it's about 3 pip only.

Good choice, what works for me is support/resistance trading + trendline breakout

some people say big spread more safer..
