Hi... Just discovered this thread.
I'm a fairly new FX, 1 year plus. Attended Mario Singh's FX training and opened an account with FXPrimus. Started with USD1000 only... Now left USD600 due to careless trading (using 1Lot, 0.5Lot, should have used smaller ones) :-) Still learning the ropes but I'm still optimistic...
Hope to learn from sifus in this thread for good profitable trades. Arigato!

QUOTE(Supreme1394 @ Jun 13 2017, 04:03 PM) Try to trade max 2% risk for each trade. Don't be like the many victims who blow up(margin call) account after account due to greediness. The goal is to be consistently profitable and to gain a steady % returns each month instead of looking at the actual $$ gained. As you get better you can work your way up from there I agree, however I m only risking 1%, 0.03 lot, 10-20pip profit per day at the moment.. still not yet up to 2%, any good strategies to share. thanks for advice This post has been edited by cmonstar: Jun 13 2017, 10:21 PM

QUOTE(Supreme1394 @ Jun 13 2017, 10:38 PM) Good choice, what works for me is support/resistance trading + trendline breakout Yup, I do Support and Resistance as well, but I m not confident with Breakouts. Quite often I catch a fakeout and lose pips.

QUOTE(ckdenion @ Jun 14 2017, 05:10 PM) oops.. then 0.1 lot is not advisable. 0.02lot is more advisable to go. Yup.. 0.1 is kinda high, unless u certain ur strategy is solid. $200, risk shud not exceed $2 per trade.. so yeah, 0.01 or 0.02 is safe
