I plan to get 1pc of CCTV that I can monitor securely on my phone. So ideally only IP CCTV would be an option yes?

okay, 1 problem down, which is good.

Now the idea is to put the cctv on my porch, so that I could monitor the area whenever i am not around.

So i would think that the cctv can be hung on the ceiling, and a wire long enough to plug to the wall plug. and a 24/7 wifi connection. This shall work yes?
