you can diy.Long run cheaper and easy maintenance by yourself.
-for a start get a hikvision 3mp poe for usd70-75 each.(purchase from aliexpress or ebay)
-cat6 lan cable.
-a 2 disk synology nas comes with 2 licences(very good surveillance software, motion detection by email,
DS cam-apps for android and ios-live stream
-maybe a 8 port gigabit switch for future cameras expansion.
I do all my own setup.

I'd recommend foscam c2/iq200 but for some reason the price has tripled since last time I bought it, not sure why
1080p, got rtsp, email alerts and everything else

There's also xiaomi cameras, got apps but it's pretty locked down (no rtsp, email, just app alerts)
You're aiming to use with nvr or just store videos on ipcam's sdcard?
*
well i just use to store videos in case someone accidentally bang my car... i dont really use the live feed...

Most importantly, do you have a particular budget in mind?

hmm, it depends if you really want to go budget.

I'd say probably around less than RM800 with  the hardware and wire, that's inclusive of:

1. 4ch recorder x 1
2. surveillance hdd (seagate skyhawk 1tb) x 1
3. camera x 1
4. power adaptor 12v 2 a x 1
5. coax/network cable x 1
6. necessary connectors

now, the cost to further add on cameras is cheaper as you are purchasing a 4ch capacity recorder but only utilizing one.

as of wired vs wireless, honestly if your place has plaster ceiling. Then I'd really prefer to go wired since you can hide your cables.

Is there any shop that can do all this? I kinda busy to figure out this myself..

Then you properly don't need the whole setup.
One wifi camera should be enough.
There's xiaomi mijia with 360 degree rotation if want to monitor at different angle
*

Xiaomi mijia and yi is different?

Different but still using the same mi home app.
Also, If wall outlet a bit too far from the camera location, you could just grab usb cable extender.
