Testing remotely 5Mp Tuya wireless NVR Kit. Results quite ok. Human detection seems good also. Bottom pic is max digital zoom based on 1st pic.
Currently using Tuya Wifi wireless PIR sensor combo with cctv. How to decide the type of CCTV you need?, Security System - CCTV

QUOTE(adamw @ Nov 15 2020, 02:14 PM) Once is triggered on my phone I would check the cctv and I see movement of either cars, cats or people. It also depends on the position to capture the movement but am satisfied with the unit.In one day, somwtime I can easily receive about 20+ notifications. QUOTE(iamsobloodysick @ Nov 15 2020, 02:32 PM) Hi, I plan to have cameras set up at the locations below. Any comments? They’re wired cameras. Is it fine to drill a hole to run PoE cable through to front door and balcony? Only a suggestion ...not sure allow by jmb or mc.![]() Place one camera each at left right end corridor. Have 1 camera inside will do. Use conduit instead of conceal wiring for external.. |

QUOTE(adamw @ Nov 15 2020, 03:19 PM) I think the new AI Camera from Tuya looks more promising, less false alarm. Well, need get my hands on the actual units to be sure. Would agreed with you. As for my case, I oredi have the cctv installed prior, so this is just an add on. The pir sensor is for outside the house intruder detection. |

QUOTE(sgpdsmss @ Jul 10 2021, 12:25 PM) hi .. If only you have good memory to on off daily. You may said instal a timer but that is a preset time. In between the family still need to go out. Why create 'problem' when there is none.during day time family members will be around ..and only switch on the cctv at night time till morning .... isnt ok ? or better left it on 24hours ? thanks .. With armed guards, banks still get rob. This post has been edited by mini orchard: Jul 10 2021, 03:33 PM |

QUOTE(z800r @ Aug 28 2021, 07:43 PM) Hi. I have few questions and need you guys suggestion. For the small house and store ..... 4( C)I would like to install cctv in my orchard / kebun. 1. My kebun doesnt have internet connection at the moment. But maybe i can apply for streamyx. No unifi of course. 2. From the front gate of our orchard to our small house in the back of the orchard (where i plan to put the dvr, router and power supply), around 400meters. It is a big orchard/kebun. So maybe i need 2000m length of wire for the cctv (coaxial / power supply / poe) all around my kebun. 3. I want to install the cctv at few places, such as at the front gate, the small house, a store room where i kept my machines/tools, another 1 or 2 cctv overlooking my kebun. So around 5-6 cctv needed. I want to view all the cctv through my phone also as im not in the kebun 24/7. And want to get notification if there is any unwanted movement. And i need a cctv that detect car movement and will notify me about car movement near the front gate / small house. 4. So now i have few options for the cctv: A) Reolink 4g solar cctv cost around rm1k each. And i need a sim card with unlimited internet connection for each cctv. 4g connection a bit poor in my kebun. Sometimes fast, sometimes slow. Need 5-6 cctvs, rm1k each. And need 5-6 sim cards with unlimited internet connection. Or just get a cheap 4g solar cctv from shopee, around rm400 each B) i apply for streamyx and install reolink / tapo c310 in my kebun. But the distance from the front gate to the house (router, power supply) is about 400meters. Sure cannot get wifi. This is the problem C) still apply for streamyx. And install hikvision cctv with dvr and poe, and just use cable/wire all the way from the front gate to the house (router, power supply). This one is much cheaper options. So, any other suggestion? And which is the best idea for me to setup the cctv? Thanks For the front gate ..... 4(A) A movement sensor can be a nuisance alert inside the orchard and at main gate when there are small animals or passing cars....I have 2 sets of photo beam in my compound plus few visiting squirrels and lizards and my alarm gets triggered once awhile. QUOTE(k town shit @ Aug 31 2021, 09:40 AM) I mean I can receive any call from the App until I dismiss it. Not necessarily via SIM card. Yes ... then it is available .... some forumers suggest Tuya camera which is ALL in 1.It can be via any notification in the App. The reason I'm looking for such dismiss type of notification is that I'm afraid I oversleep. I have an old cctv system. I install a separate Tuya motion sensor, which I will receive notifications via the app. Then I wii check my cctv app. A minor inconvenience as I dont see a reason to change an old working cctv system. k town shit liked this post

QUOTE(d3ck @ Aug 31 2021, 01:57 PM) Hi. Is up to you on which system. I'm planning to DIY CCTV for my house. Plan setup would be 2 x Outside (Under roof) 3 x Inside Currently looking at below model EZVIZ C6CN for inside the house & EZVIZ C3WN for outside the house. Prefer WiFi camera for less messy cable setup. Power outlets will be done by my brother so no issue about that. Any other better/cheaper model? Or is it better to get wired solutions? Thanks If you like to fiddle with gadgets, then wireless. On the other hand, if you just want it to work after installation without much trouble shooting, then wired....plug and play. But wired comes in set of 4, 8, 12 ...... So either your buy 4 and leave out 1 or buy 8 and leave out 3. There are other pro and con which you can read in the net. d3ck liked this post

QUOTE(linuss @ Nov 12 2022, 12:47 AM) Check prices online for hardware comparison. For cabling, I think it should be mix of conceal and above ceiling. Why only 7 cameras ? Make use of all channels to have better surveillance. Study the position of all cameras again. Hear opinion from others during site visit. The 'spare' camera can focus the general public area. To me, price is ok but nevertheless, nego for some discounts. This post has been edited by mini orchard: Nov 12 2022, 10:01 AM |

QUOTE(linuss @ Nov 12 2022, 03:11 PM) Thanks for the feedback bro. It's for own residential 2 storey terrace house. I thought is a bit overkill. Noticed the suppliers recommend fixed focal camera, I supposed the view is narrowed. Will it be better if we use wide angle camera? Then I can keep the cameras minimal. Wide angle are suitable for unblock areas. For residentials, there are columns, walls, built-ins etc that will 'block' the surveillance.Few cameras are required to position in different angle or direction to capture the best surveillance. Some cameras may overlap but that is better than one wide angle camera capturing a blur or blocked image.. This post has been edited by mini orchard: Nov 13 2022, 04:05 AM adamw liked this post
