It’s a common issue where maxis centre staff put the blame on CS and vice versa, I’ve learnt similar lesson dealing with maxis over the years....it taught me not to deal with 123 CS on important matters.. just walk in and enquire next time, get their staff id/name for future ref so they can’t pusing here and there..

Since you already paid, I think you can make some noise and force them to settle it, you shouldn’t have just left bro, it’s different story if you haven’t paid and wanted a contract, PO already done, most of the time the manager will just let you off...go there again and make noise

Ignore 123, they are almost shitty as you could imagine, I only call them for small matters or to check any account related infos, anything to do with contract or bigger matters I’ll normally just go to walk ins..lazy and tired with their ‘taichi blaming’..

just make sure to call up for cancellation on time, otherwise its RM 59/month, which is a lot... worse if you have autodebit and charged without knowing... by time find out already too late biggrin.gif
put a few reminders, calendars etc to be safe

As usual i’d suggest checking out at the walk in centre rather than calling to check (or website), most of the time it doesn’t tally into what the centres have..

on the contrary, its actually harder to get 1TB units, coz no high demand hence the store wont stock in many, probably 1-2 units since launch, and the PO will take a long time compare to smaller storage units...

yeap thats why its important to set a few reminders to cancel it before 3 months up.
i might even cancel it anytime now coz im not sure if i'll remember about this months later, despite the few reminders set.. lol

Just say you want to cancel ‘safe device’, and to be safe, better call again after a week to make sure it’s really being cancelled...better still if check at their walk in centre lol

You can definitely check the exact date, it’s all recorded in their system, but to be ‘safer’ just cancel it sometime end December...no need tepat2 3 months smile.gif

You can try to contact maxis to sort this out, perhaps a written consent for someone else to do it at the centres on your behalf..

Yes just walk in, I always trust walking in to find out, coz more than often they give different answer when you walk in than via phone or website..but you should really walk in on launch day, they have a few units for each variant on the first day smile.gif
