For those who haven't pre-ordered, does anyone tried to walk in just to check whether they have stocks or not?

Actually I wanted to get my wife on the RM48 share line but since she's been with this maxis family plan with her siblings for years so we left it as it is. I tried to tempt her to switch over to my account since the maxis home fibre at home is under my name as well and my mobile data is unlimited but she finds it a little bit of a hassle to go to maxis with her siblings to sort out the line transfer and making one of them the principal line instead. Also the bill is being paid by one of the siblings who earns much more than her so I am just quietly reaping the benefits of getting to buy a phone on contract under her name, hahaha.... On the flip side, I usually only get 2 months or so with the new phone before passing it over to her so win win for everyone, hahhaa..

Anyways, if you ask me, I would say that if you are paying your wife's mobile phone bill it might be prudent to just stay on the 48 and you just take the RM79 x 24 (RM1896) and buy the phone outright on the alternate year bro, hahaha....

Hey wanna ask you guys because can only self collect my unit tomorrow noon from Maxis, is it necessary to check the phone at the centre during collection? Or I can just grab and go?

Ah make sense also. So let say I spot something not right with the phone, can I demand for 1-to-1 replacement?
