Those that hit the sold out message is due to your number not supported by Maxis Online Store. I just tried just now with a different number and it went through

Anyone knows how to ROI for maxis?

Called up Maxis CS. Bad news for those that plan to go instore and pre-order. They say theres no pre-ordering available for in-store. Everything is via Online. Walking in in-store will be after 13 Nov when it officially launches

Oh ya and for all those funny errors, not being able to select your own existing line / prompting no stock. Its all their system error. they checked my account and said i have totally no issue to pre-order from the website, but it seems its their website issue so asked me to keep trying. Well done Maxis. They screw their own pre-ordering every single time while other Telcos pre-ordering seems to be smooth.

Actually any cons of purchasing from Switch? They offer the same maxis plan with the same device price

Anyone had experience buying from Switch using Maxis Plan? Because it seems like the device is the same price as Maxis website itself. So there should be no difference in getting it from Switch with a Maxis Plan

I had the same issue yesterday, couldn't select existing number to go into contract. Called up their CS ytd and they confirm that my number is ELIGIBLE for pre-order, no need to choose new number. They said its due to their website high traffic and lots of error and advised to keep trying. Such a disappointment. I proceeded to order from Switch under Maxis Plan since its still in-stock

Exactly. Based on the observation ytd, I think they are the worst among all telcos in handling the iPhone release

Better to place order via website straight if you wanna get the device on 13th Nov Launch day itself. Basically you can collect your device on 13th Nov at your selected Switch store

They expect everyone to be still awake trying to deal with their horrible website

Are you a new customer? Maybe like ported over to maxis less than 1 year?

If i'm not wrong, they did replenish yesterday afternoon for 12 pro max.

Alternatively, you can actually pre-order from Machines / Switch (if they are in stock) which offers Maxis Plan as well.
