well.. stock market not doing well, can't expect PNB to keep paying good dividends.
But market will surely recover, it's just the matter of when.

Have we seen the bottom ? Some people tell me we might be at the bottom already..

stocks are relatively cheap at the moment but I don't dare invest. Can get heart attack looking at my portfolio sinking. bye.gif

Well, stocks are relatively cheap lately. I am sure PNB has taken positions in blue chips. When the prices of these stocks recover, so will be our dividends drool.gif drool.gif drool.gif

I hope it will be 6%... but anything above FD rates would be nice.

Well, during the 1998 crisis, I remembered asking this question to my uncle when ringgit was at RM4.50. he said DUNNO.

And ringgit DID rebound to RM2.95 at one time.

in this scenario, for me personally, PNB is my only hope for wealth preservation.

6% return to beat inflation, so still OK.

I don't think Ringgit will depreciate -6% vs USD annually

on the side note, managed to get ASW2020 today (high 4 digits) . Seems quite easy last few days. Maybe many non-bumi withdraw dividends for CNY.
