do your SS have like a burning smell coming out from the aircon when you 'metal to the pedal' when aircon is on?

i rarely do that but when i do i can smell like maybe exaust gas etc.

i checked with service centre sometime ago but they said nothing wrong.

My car also like that. Alot of parts need to be fix or replace. Mine also entering 4th years this year.
Below are some major parts that i have already replace or claim under warranty during my  ownership:

- Engine mount - 4 Times (2 unit replace during warranty and 2 unit have to pay because no warranty)
- Transmission mount - 1 time (Pay)
- Air intake host - 1 time (Pay)
- Fog light (Front) - 2 time (Pay)
- Drive Airbag - 1 time (Claim warranty)
- Car HU - Replace With 3rd party
- Battery - Replace With 3rd party
- Throttle Body Service - 1 time (Pay)
- Tyres - 4 sets (every year change)
- VSC sensor unit - 1 time (Claim warranty)
- Radiator Fan - 1 time (Claim warranty )
- Timing Belt - 1 time (Pay)
- Turbo Parts/Host - 2 time (Claim warranty)
- 3 times update/reset ECU (Claim warranty)
- Aircon Condenser (Pay)

turbo hose can claim 2 times? I only got once. Need to change when hit 65k km

Tyres-wear and tear. Mine generally last 10k km

how to know airbag faulty?

My up coming service is claiming seat belt mounting bracket. As I am tall the seat belt literally is cutting through the car. Will show pics later after being changed.

It's ok, went to tyre shop and got it from there. They charged RM100 for 20 pieces, used. Is that expensive? They said outside, shop sells RM45 per nut, but new. Not sure whether to believe or not LOL

anyone here change tyre with 215 55 17 size? do u guys think it will be to fit? I already use 215 50 17, its still ok. advice pls . time to change tyre already 

Did my first DIY replacement of rear brake light bulb. The original bulb is Philips P21W had to replace with 1156 bulb purchased from ACE Hardware store near by. They sell 2 bulb in one pack around RM8++ made in Hungary. Just remove the 2 screws that can be accessed inside the boot. Then remove the brake light socket and replace the bulb. Did the first replacement few months back on the other side of the rear brake light at the workshop.

Does anyone ever experienced a temporary power loss when accelerating?

And also, will copying the map data from Iriz and put into the Suprima memory card slot, work?

I just took my wife to have a look at the Suprima S. We were initially going to buy a Jazz but she really likes the Suprima S so we are considering changing to this car. After the test drive, what was noticeable was the handling was good. Ride was a little firm. Interior space is better compared to a Jazz.

Can you please let me know what are the common problems for the Suprima? Also since you are all driving it, any regrets? Worth the money you paid for? We are likely going to buy the premium. Thanks.

My head unit just died with a loud popping sound

How long is the warranty for the head unit?

If cannot claim warranty, what is the best head unit that is compatible with the steering wheel control and reverse camera/sensor and also front sensor?

Much better than the suprima eh? But I assume you're talking about modding and how much more will it cost to improve the performance significantly 🤔

Thanks for the breakdown. I always thought suprimas handle great especially around corners didn't know the inspira was good too. Although suprima comes with way more safety features.

Can anyone gv me price quotation for this item?
