Gt pro & con lor...If the lakes inside precincts then you will required to pay higher maintenance fee. To maintenance a lake/landscape, it is no cheap. From I know from SP mgmt, they are spent huge figure to maintain SEH Ecohill Park on monthly basis.

I agreed with you plus EM is using same contractor which doing for SEH Phase 1...their workmenship no good and defect rate quite high. From my source, SP has decided to use another group of contractor for SEH2 project due to poor workmenship on same group of contractor.

Checking only can help to reduce defect rate but cant guaranteed on workmenship.

Versus Merrydale...
So which one is nicer?

Yup Merrydale is quite fancy from the aerial view but not sure how it feels when one walks on the ground - could be very nice I think when surrounded by manicured shrubs.

Both are impressive.
I think Mellowood is like a wife and Merrydale is like a sexy gf.
For long term, wife better still I think.

On the interest part, if you use flexi loan account, it should be fine though ie instead of paying only the interest, pay more (eg full instalment) so that the extra can offset / reduce the interest / principal.

Illustration of Merrydale Lake against Cradleton Lake. Mind both joining each other and both are public lake. Doesnt matter earlier or latter precint, both not inside the precint.  Both are public infrastructure and landscaping. Even though illustration, shouldnt  be varied so much from reality, unless work not done. Go ask EW.
