UOB YOLO entitled cashback for online payment of Car insurance?
Through motortakaful.com or etiqa.com
*
i tested uob yolo on tune insurance and uforlife (despite knowing previously vox is not entitled and also the t&c specifically said so). both negative for cashback as expected, though i hope otherwise.

I just signed up the UM5 oversea speed CB along with this RM300 CB with my Yolo card, I wonder I can get both CB if I hit the CB speeding requirement respectively.
*
i think in theory you can. but the issue is... the foreign one starts on a friday, the local one starts on a monday...

do you think the foreign pool is still available on monday?

the local one confirm will finish by Friday... If i have a lot of bills to pay, i will accumulate RM500 bills, wait to pay at 12am on monday lo... even if i don't get the 10% or 20%, still get 6% for yolo, worth a shot.

personal opinion... biggrin.gif

ya.. i meant that if u are in the first come first serve list already then next statement at least tell upfront.. dont wan empty hope  cry.gif
*
it's the rule of the game.

anyway, they can't tell you, because they don't know too. pretty sure they compile the list AFTER the campaign is over and then sort it the first 200 ppl or the first 250 ppl.

If it still grants me via TM Portal/OCC UniFi, I will still use for now until my YOLO reaches one year. It's coming in few more months. Goodbye YOLO. bye.gif
*
Rmb to stop using at least one month before anniversary, since rebate is always the next month. So ya, not long.

in my opinion, we are paying to uobpayonline which is online transactions, we not paying to utilities company, then UOBpayonline pay to utilities company, isn't the process like that?
*
Your statement says Tenaga Nasional Berhad, NOT uobpayonline... So, no lo.

That's what i think la.

Called to check the status of the cancellation request for UOB card (UOB PRVI Miles Card) which is has yet to be collected and active, still in the branch, need another 4 working days to be fully cancel it, currently is under partially cancelling, no idea what is this mean and a confirmation letter will be received.

And also request to reduce the credit limit, it need to take about 5 working days, but not effected immediately.
*
i think it could be partial cancelling cause they might want to the retention department to call you. I told CS i really want to cancel it.

That was my experience with vox card. (no calls, nothing, confirmation of cancellation in the next statement)

great, cashback is in earlier than expected
now i have a question, with this cashback, I have effectively overpaid my cc, now got CR RM21.28, does that mean I do not need to pay my statement balance of RM28.82?
Anyone paying the statement balance minus the cash rebate every month? Thx
*
Kawan ini mesti takut pasal cimb card.

I always pay stmt bal - cash rebate. No issues. My cash rebate always after stmt date.

in many ways the public bank card seems much easier and more flexible. Although many still can use up the quota without rebate for TNB.

Well, do take 1 to 2 months to decide before cancelling. no rush as it's not even one year yet...

Not all doom and gloom although the exclusion of tnb via uoboayonline from the cash back is a bummer... for the unifi-ers. Just pay via Occ Unifi.

Another prob is the AF, if they willing to set Min 20-30 transaction that above RM50 then will get AF waives, then i think ppl will still consider to keep further.

Pity for those CC promoter which work so hard to get customer, end up due to this change then ppl will cut less than 6 months
*
i agree with fruitie on this. Aside from few irregular complaints of not getting uob one card annual fee waived in this forum, my experience is that it is quite easy to waive the annual fee for the card.

i tried to cancel my lady's card. they retained me... give me 3 years waiver biggrin.gif and the way i used it is definitely making them lose money. oh well.
