The last 2 column on the Treatspoints Account Details in statement, If 'Expiring Date' is 31/05/2017, and 'Expiring Points' is 0. Does it means no point going to be expire upon 31/05/17?

My current points about 22k, not really enough for redeem, of course not willing to see it expire as well....
*
pretty straightforward, 0 points to expire on 31/05/2017.

iinm, you can walk-in to maybankcard centre to redeem a rm50 petronas gift card @ 20k TPs.

I just found out about this Maybank 2 Gold Card. So from what I understand, if I use this to pay for petrol every weekends, no matter which petrol band, I can get 5% cashback?
*
use the AMEX card only + spend on anything + spend on weekends = 5% cashback (capped at RM50 per calendar month)

Thanks for your clarification, bro!  notworthy.gif

Yup, if is going to expire, PETRONAS gift card is my only choice, else normally I wait until can redeem shopping voucher.

As none of the On-the-spot redeem is near to my daily route. Have to make a trip for it , either with LRT (KLCC) or drive to Mid Valley or 1U.
*
the expiry date stated in the statement is set at 2 months in advance, so you would have ample of time to plan the redemption biggrin.gif

thanks for replying bro, do i need to spend minimum amount to enjoy this 5%? say if i use to pumpo petrol RM50 - 5% = RM 47.50, correct?
*
mbb doesnt award cb of less than RM1, that translates to RM20 spending in a month.

if u spend >RM20/mth, this should not worry you.

RM50 petrol = RM2.5 cashback la

how do you guys decide where to get the most out of TreatPoints ? Is conversion 400TP = RM1 , the correct calculation to use ?

read catalogue here

usually just redeem vouchers, more flexibility.

walk-in redemption is better. online redemption has additional points to cover delivery fee.

Good morning all. Been trying to search through the forum and also google but have not found an answer to my following question.

Out of curiosity, for those Maybank credit card promo thing, why do they request for you to register with an SMS? Why is it not eligible for all card holders? The M9million promo I got some even though I didn't SMS to register. Just wondering if it is a must to sms to be entitled for the credit card promotion. Sorry if the topic has already been discussed somewhere in the forum.
*
the 9mil promo, no SMS registration needed. T&Cs here

for others, if sms is needed, probably due to regulation, meaning customer to voluntarily opt-in for a contest.

Thank you for your reply. But any specific reason why need to opt-in? Why would anyone wouldn't want to opt-in to a cashback contest? I saw some shop with banner as well that require to SMS register to get the promo. It's something I don't understand. So I never SMS register for any promo :S
*
usually it's due to regulation. i dont know the specifics.

contest to be opt-in, no "chance" elements (prevent "betting" style), if there's a tie on the results must be a tiebreaker via slogan or etc etc

maybe mbb VS different though. Lol
in Maybank 2 Gold there is TnC stated that rebate must be more than RM1.
*
actually mbb is smarter now, putting this into T&C.

in actual fact, this has existed previously, just that it was not documented.

i had one coffee purchase (RM14.80) using amex during weekend. come 1st of the month, no cashback. filed a report and cs said no cb to be awarded if less than RM1. i argued that no black & white stating this point. cs proceed to file a complaint. after 1 week+, i've received a cashback adjustment of RM0.74 devil.gif

why so many people confuse about the table  confused.gif
*
1) ppl dont read the table header doh.gif
2) ppl read left-to-right, so immediately think their total points are going to expire.
