Hi guys, sorry for opening the quite same topic about whey protein again.

Anyone had tried/taste "Ultimate Nutrition Prostar 100% Whey Protein" with Chocolate Crème flavour? It taste a bit "sour".. and it souring when I mix it with milk...

Is it anything wrong with the quality of product I got? Or it taste sour because of "creme" flavour?

Hoping to get ways to make it taste slightly easier.

Maybe you guys got a bad batch? Mine is not in the slightest bit sour, in taste or smell.

Or maybe mine is fake? Hah.

I bought it after reading some decent reviews of it from some members here. I think it also has some pretty good reviews at bodybuilding.com?

Won't describe mine as sour, but definitely weird, and definitely not "choc creme" as labelled, I do believe mine is genuine though cs the price seems to be in line with market, just maybe the taste is meant to be like that

I been taking prostar for past 3 months. But mine is the cookies n cream flavour. Taste bland with water but heavenly with milk. Its not a cheapskate protein brand for goodness sake. If it helps, one of the sponsor for mr olympia 2016.

I wish they selling banana flavor.. getting sick of those choc this and choc that flavor.....

I will test one more cup later, will update how it tatse this time.
I've tried with plain water / milk. This time I'll try with plain water again. (make it more "thick" with lesser water)

u really cant compare UN's taste with the rest. It will definitely taste bland comparatively. I uses it because of its profile and its value for money. Other brands definitely taste better. Was it Jay Cutler who said ' I eat for function not for taste'??? :D:D

Most of the brands i tried before will whip UN's taste

Muscle tech - Platinum Whey, Nitrotech
Gaspari Myofusion - one of the best tasting whey IMO.

Never said it did. Just to say UN is not some back alley company producing some trash protein. I usually dont go for 'signature' series protein...a certain % of the price is due to those fellas face

Had un 3 days, twice per day.. slowly "accept" the flavor now. I will buy banana / strawberry flavor protein next time. Hope it taste better haha.

if u can "endure" the taste of UN.. prostar 100 is the best in term of value. RM320 for 15x scoops my god!!! I drink like it's milo only XD
25g protein in 1 single scoop (relatively small scoop)

if u want something more "famous" and taste well, go for ON gold standard whey or muscle tech platinum whey.

if u are "hardcore", don't care about budget and etc, go for Ronnie Coleman Signature Series Pro-Antium. Larger scoop for 30g protein, but those "extra" nutrition is orgasm for your muscle
