I think that's about when the retailers will start replenishing their stocks for Black and Jet Black here as well. Almost everywhere is sold out for those colors. Have you seen the demo sets? When I looked closely at the matte black one, I noticed the fingerprint marks on the back as well, while not as bad as Jet Black ones, but it's still there. Oh well, I guess once you slap on a case, you can't see any of it already

Yup, most stores are out of stock for the blacks. I bought directly from Apple for peace of mind in case I need the 1-1 exchange.

I did see some fingerprints on MB but not as obvious as the JB. It was quite "geli" to see so many oily prints on the JB. The sales ppl should wipe the JB set often. Anyway, still not an issue since it was a display unit.

My concern would be incurring fine scratches over time. I'll try to keep checking the display units. I didn't see any obvious marks. Wouldn't mind getting JB for a second set (maybe i7).

Got my phone on Friday, pretty much happy with it except that there is a hissing sound.

It's not noticeable at all unless you keep the phone close to your ears and only can hear that it is hissing.

Normal usage wont affect you nor the phone performance.

I put on a case and the sounds completely gone, maybe it got absorb by the case

No, not yet. Still between Black and Jet Black, 32GB or 128GB, ha ha.. Anyways, I'm most likely only getting from Harvey Norman or SenQ to offset some Credit card points, so at the moment I don't have to make a decision coz all also no stock for black or jet black, ha ha. It's fine, I can wait

Yes, Jet Black is certainly not for those with OCD. But I also didn't see any obvious scratches on the display unit Jet Black so I guess if you take proper care of it, maybe it doesn't scratch as easily as we fear it would.
