that place very keras

many attempts to develop the flat failed
1) developer tried to get the flat ppl to move out, end up one the worker got thrown from 4th floor by unseen forces
2) developer tried to bring a bulldozer around the flat ended up the bulldozer lifted 50meters up in the sky and dissolve by acid

I can tell ya guys that there may be more cold murder cases than what the public knows. Those are protected under OSA.

I know this because in the 90s there was a news about a reporter being held for leaking one such case.

In the cops' defense, they probably have good reasons to hide these cold cases.

1. Prevent mass panic. Remember that black purdah red Kancil rumor in the 90s?

2. Our people can be quite kepoh even though they know jackshit about police work. Bad rumors can interrupt investigation or even smear innocent people with crimes they didnt commit.

3. Serial killers love attention. Better pretend they dont exist while the cops approach the perp behind the scenes.

That Ang May Hong case, if I'm not mistaken, her poor parents operate a BKT shop. Along the corridor of shops next to Dynasty Hotel.

As of last few years, I heard yes. And that they did stopped for a long while right after the tragic murder, traumatised by their loss. This is Jalan Ipoh orang punya hearsay.

* May 1999: Audrey Melissa Batinathan, 17, a Form 5 student of Methodist Girls School in Kuala Lumpur, was raped and murdered near a Tenaga Nasional sub-station in Jalan Kinabalu on her way to school. A post-mortem revealed that she was battered on the head, raped and strangled. The murderer has yet to be arrested although police has released a photofit of the suspect identified as a 30-something curly haired dadah addict named Chris.

In July 2001, Audrey’s mother Margaret Francis received an undisclosed amount of money from the Government in an out-of-court settlement related to a negligence suit brought by Francis against the headmistress of Audrey’s school and the Government. She claimed both parties had an obligation and responsibility towards Audrey’s safety and that her death was due to the defendants’ negligence.
