There are others you can consider depending on your spend pattern. Does not have to be just public bank VS.
There was a history of u-turn a downgrade decision for maybank 2 card amex. You can check the history in a separate thread.

For this barcelona, doubt it will be u-turn. Bank negara is asking the banks to reduce the fees. 2021 is like a new phase, not sure if i can still locate that bank negarq guideline.

Expect other cards to cut too.

At a perpetual 2% with no minimum spend, it is too good to be expected to last long anyway.
