seems like autodebit for Time is not giving cash back. Standard Chartered people also say not getting it.

not yet give up. I just sign up in July. First month free, second month just paid, and third month already partially prepaid. For now, seems like it's good for $2 + as a filler to reach minimum spending only.

yeah, thanks for reminding me about the autodebit.

wanted to sign up using cards that I'll keep indefinitely - Public Bank and Barcelona. But they're not entitled for autopay cash back. Next is Barcelona, but you guys are not getting cash back. I freeze my BP when balance is above 200 or so, so cannot autopay.

I guess solution is to bug maybank2me over this. You or others affected take the honor? tongue.gif

Just thought of something. I happened to pay my initial Time deposit, similar as paying using Selfcare, with BP. BP app shows Utilities. Tt Dotcom Sdn Bhd

But then, it should've worked for Standard Chartered autopay if it's Utilities.

My recent scenario was Clarence's third outcome. They ran out of paper and ask to swipe again and insisted I won't be charged again.

Few days later, both transactions came out in maybank2me. Reported to merchant but their record only show 1 transaction (obviously, since the first has no printout). Couple of weeks later, both transactions came in statement.

Waiting for maybank2me to investigate dispute.

not familiar with how the card reader works.

so yesterday i paid more attention. after swiping the card, they will have to press some buttons to print out a "settlement". I think this is what they wanted to do the other day. Since there was only 1 piece of settlement printed on that fateful day, despite 2 swipes, i'm surprised that maybank2me still double billed me after 2 weeks.

so your first transaction was already successful but no paper to print. What they should have done was replaced the paper and reprint last transaction. Only if that was NOT your transaction should they have swipe your card a 2nd time.

Edit: Their POS only have 1 record likely due to the cashier did not even print out the merchant copy for record (so cannot type into the POS). I am however am surprised that the end of the day settlement did not catch it as the total amount would not have matched the POS system.

thanks for the info. was at KK mart, doubt the arunbais know so much. I reported to the KK helpdesk and they confirmed only 1 transaction. i'd say a good way to launder money.

no, but they attach the printout to the merchant copy. if not mistaken, they do the same thing when i pay with ewallets.

ok, here's some info for everyone. I did call maybank2me a few mins later. totally no records. the card reader is from another bank, maybe Public Bank or AmBank. so it'll take time if interbank.

I thought std charted's "unposted" was almost instantly captured. different banks.

phone call, well, i dont know how fast they capture it. i thought it should be instant. otherwise i can go well beyond my approved credit limit before the system blocks me. they told me no transaction at all.

I think 3 times use, 3 times fail. Different days.

For dispute, unrelated to KFC, takes almost a month to settle. No calls no nothing from maybank2me other than an autoresponder. When the time comes, you'll see the transaction reversed.

Oh yeah. You can start by going to KFC and ask them to reverse the charges. If they did not perform a settlement, likely maybank2me will reverse it. This is faster than waiting to settle the dispute.

just called their CS. they are aware of the problem and rectifying it (probably all of you reported). Expected to be fixed tentatively tomorrow.
