MCC4900 for Time (Online) is beyond your control as well as Maybank's responsibility. Time's service provider assigned a MCC when they set up the payment system.

Next time use Bigpay or Merchantrade Visa to pay RM1 first to find out the Merchant category.

No paper come out, merchant POS error also.

They run out of paper after they insert the card? I thought normally they just change the paper then it will auto reprint the it? (no need re-swipe)

no - settlement is all transactions in the machine from the date/time of the last settlement to the current date time.

the receipt/paper printed out for merchant and customer is for reference, record and trace number only. all transactions are actually in the machine.

so your first transaction was already successful but no paper to print. What they should have done was replaced the paper and reprint last transaction. Only if that was NOT your transaction should they have swipe your card a 2nd time.

Edit: Their POS only have 1 record likely due to the cashier did not even print out the merchant copy for record (so cannot type into the POS). I am however am surprised that the end of the day settlement did not catch it as the total amount would not have matched the POS system.

the one they print should be merchant copy. settlement very long one - unless they do a settlement after every transaction - then good luck to finance for tracking.

Never trust the cashier, kena once at obrien, newbie didnt aware that the red color indicate end of paper, swipe at least 8 times, then finally realized out of paper, i reached home and called up maybank, total 9 transaction, all same amount. Went back and asked them to void. Shud have called maybank on the spot when such thing happen.

Tried to tap with FCB at KFC terminal, their card machine hang.
So end up paying with cash.

3 days after, noticed the *wrong amount* charged to my card.
I bought RM9.20 but charged RM21. 

Anyone face this before? 
How to dispute the transaction?

I hope maybank accept my dispute because for my case I paid with cash but it still charging incorrect amount to my card.
Guess I have no choice but pay the bill first.

Next time I will use ewallet/PIN at KFC.
