Wow, which mean MBB is really not that strict, spending short for 5-10% is still possible to appeal for AF waiver.

Thanks for sharing

this is not firm. if you noticed the second clause in the reply from bank, it did mentioned the min spending has changed to 30k. so, they may be using a prorated amount as the min spending amount, which ended up is less than 45k.

Yes, they charged in Feb subsequently waived in May.

en... i got charged on 27th Jan instead of Feb, which I think they gave me wrong info also. Anyway, I got waived on the same day. Seems like different process duration than yours.

Well, the CS also told me in Oct 2017 but I recalled this was discussed many years ago, some followed the anniversary month embossed on the card. laugh.gif

Yeah, same thing actually. Just that I'm luckier to be able to use few more months. laugh.gif

Fyi, since I have m2card before vs, my vs follows the anniversary month of my m2card. Not sure if this applies on your case.

if transaction on 31 Aug but posted on 1 Sep, cashback is 10% (transaction date in Aug) but the max cb limit is RM50 (posting date in Sep)

so, lowest spend amount to gain RM50 max cb (in Sep) is RM500 based on 10% transacted in Aug.

compared this to RM2,500 spending @ 2% to get RM50 max cb in Sep alone.

Thank you and definitely will give some test. Can only try in Aug. As running low of credit card top up quota for July.

i was prepared since early this month for the RM500 top up from mbb fcb to bp. even tested with few rounds on certain timing ytd. was too late for the testing though. worst is, 2 hours before midnight just now, realised that, my bp has only rm2xx top up quota this month... bangwall.gif
