Very odd, I read somewhere they're discontinuing Apple Pay on Shopee but this sounds absurd. Probably because they can't scam with our CC infos.  dry.gif It's also ridiculous that Shopee's customer service is also not helpful, insisting it's available when it's not for me.  sweat.gif

Right?! It boggles the mind... I checked my Wallet in Settings and all cards seems to be present, just not as an option on Shopee... I used to get the Apple Pay option greyed out for me once or twice but now, it's completely gone!

EDIT: Instead of helping to solve this, they suggested I use another method of payment... Geez, why didn't I think of that? rolleyes.gif shakehead.gif

For retail transactions, Apple Pay = standard credit card / debit card method - which is NFC.

So whether or not the outlet 'accepts' or not, as long as it's a new credit card terminal that allows NFC or PayWave function, it is by default that it will work with Apple Pay.

Whether or not management or the store allows it to be used, the function is there and it is determined by the payment gateway’s terminal. Just because it is not advertised at the counter that ‘Apple Pay is available here’ doesn’t mean that the function is not there.

By default, if the terminal has a ‘wave’ feature, Apple Pay is functional because it will still be a Credit Card transaction when it reflects in the POS system for payment method.
