FYI, Avenue of Stars is closed for renovation, most of the stuffs are all re-located to the Garden of Stars
Also if you're a foodie on a budget, there are a lot of affordable Michelin Stars restaurant, can go for food hunt, but prepare for a super long queue during weekend/holidays. |

been following a few HK travel forums
here's some details I have gathered most of it if not all doesn't recommend tourist to come over during these period, especially those travelling with elderly or children, solo or smaller group travel at your own risk public transport like mrt & tram is operating at limited capacity and at reduced hours, some trams on the island is not operating due to protester pour concretes on the tram track certain mrt stations are closed due to vandalism. if can cancel flight & hotel bookings, please do so, if can't, either burn or alter you itinerary. Safest place so far is the airport, from there you can either change your itinerary to disneyland only, or to macau, or to Zhuhai, or Shenzhen. for those still going, avoid going out at night, and avoid protest hotspots, and avoid wearing all black/white, and most of all, don't wear face mask, and do not simply take photos of anyone travel insurance WILL NOT cover or compensate you any losses resulting from the riots This post has been edited by greyshadow: Nov 18 2019, 08:26 AM |
