You may consider this hotel, Regal Riverside Hotel at Sha Tin. During my last travelling to HK, we stay at this hotel.

Mostly will thought it far from city, but with HK MTR system and their public transport, we can reach Ocean park within 1 hour.

We usually take bus 86K to Sha Tin station. (There are bus station in front of the hotel). Once you reach Sha Tin station, you can take MTR to place you want to go.

That is my first reaction when my friend booking this hotel.

But fall in love with that hotel once step into hotel room. Room is spacious and price is reasonable. Maybe we also go to Shen Zhen for 3 days, we can go to Lo Wu by Sha Tin Station. Sha Tin is between city and Lo Wu, that is the reason my friend choose this hotel.

Also riverbank in front of the hotel, is good place for relaxing and morning walk.

Following is our 10 days trip

1st Day - 9pm reach Macau, after dinner, about 12am, go back hotel to sleep.
2nd Day - 9am go to The Venetian until 3pm, then go to Ruins of St. Paul's. 6pm, take ferry to HKG, go to hotel and dinner at BBQ Kingdom (next to our hotel)
3rd Day - Shopping at Mong Kok and Tsim Sha Tsui
4th Day - Ngon Ping 360, Tian Tan Buddha, Tai O and Mui O (take ferry back to Central)
5th Day - Ocean Park
6th Day - Sham Shui Po, Central and The Peak
7th Day - Shen Zhen
8th Day - Shen Zhen
9th Day - 12pm reach HKG hotel. Last min shopping at City link, Shatin plaza and New town plaza (Few shopping mall link together and near to our hotel). Dinner at Kam Sha Kok dai pai dong near our hotel
10th Day - bye bye HKG
