im not too picky, but he black pork bbq does look nice.

if their general food quality is everywhere also about the same, then i guess no need la  laugh.gif

For black pork bbq you will need to look for those joints which prominently feature a large black pig in the signboard.

Otherwise you can look for bossam and jokbal. I had a post here back in Nov after my holiday there about the stuff I ate tongue.gif

Ok found the post:

hello all sifu here, me and my partner going to Seoul and Jeju on 11/10-23/10..
What is the weather during this period? I checked on weather forecast is around 10-16 Celsius.. What type of attire more suitable for this period?  Will normal hoodie jacket sufficient? thanks!

I went last October. A good hoodie that is windproof is needed. The night wind can bite you especially if you are on an open top bus for touring.

Since I rarely see foreigners/Chinese in this restaurant when I go Myeongdong.
I want to recommend 명동교자

Don't go other places to eat. Just go here. Satisfaction guaranteed. Best food in terms of taste and price in Myeongdong. Not tourist trap and mostly Koreans customers in there ( I try to find places without China tourists all the time )

명동교자
Try their 칼국수 noodle soup with beef and 만두

I am living in Seoul and already 5 years. So, trust me when I say this biggrin.gif

Nice to see you active again. Hopefully we get to meet in Korea again some time in the future.

I'm wondering if it will be a good idea to drive along the east coast of the country?

Distance-wise, I suppose it would be like driving from JB via Gua Musang to Kota Baru.

Anyone done that before?

Not really.. I think JB to KB takes longer time.

Wow cool. Have you done that before?

I suspect scenery *ought* to be fantastic. Any pitfalls to avoid?

Naver Map or Daum Map are most used.

I love chinese meal, but those korean meal I have tried in KL doesn't suit me, like Dak-galbi and those BBQ type. And in Isetan KLCC right now there is a korean fair, I ordered a meet as it looks nice, but still not my type.

Halal fail.
Korean food in Korea is much better.
