Seoul always colder than Jeju. last night for you to shop for winter wear at Jeju-Si if you worry underdress.

Arrived this morning in seoul and damn its wayyy too cold to the bones. Imagine i spent 6 years in russia also suddenly cant stand this kind of temperature. Even at night its wayyy colder.

Hopefully going to Gyeonggi area is not that cold this weekend.

Hello there! I've a question to ask - Are the rates better from the ATM machines in Incheon compared to the money changers around? I've been advised to withdraw in Incheon instead of changing wads of cash before reaching there.

Also - flights have been cheap! RM1k return on MAS is cheap!
*
MAS 1k return on which month?

So will they give me every voucher/discount coupon, together with the T-money card?? Or do i have to specifically ask for it??
*
the important thing we wanna collect is the coupon booklet, and inside it T-money card with preloaded amount. They should give, dont really have to ask haha.

Thanks.. looks like wifibaby the cheapest but it require a RM200 deposit, same goes to trave recommend (Priciest).
Roamingman however don't require a deposit and the price is reasonable. Do you have any experience among this 3? Tempted to go for RunningMan.. *opsss * Roaming Man  sweat.gif
*
i rent Roaming Man during my last month trip to Tokyo, i must say the coverage is good. they are the cheapest and require no deposit (thats good) and even i need to extend the usage for more 2 days can just whatsapp them and getting instant reply. bank transfer to them and the line is extended!

i must say their service is very good, so gonna keep using them as well for my seoul trip next month as well. any promo for roaming man now? i paid only rm12/day for japan last time rclxms.gif

just come back from SK on 9th november,
Overall experience is okay.

Weather just nice. not so hot not so cold.
i can go out with polo shirt only.
During the night thick jacket is enough.
Unfortunately on 8th November is raining all day.
Just shopping in Lotte Mart Seoul Station.

Nami Island is cold until afternoon. After that is okay.

Gangchon rail bike is awesome with the tunnel & so called romantic train.
*
Hi may i know how did your organize your Nami Island trip and Gangchon rail bike, which is the best plan, going to which place first? Coz im going end of this month bringing my family so wanna plan once reach Gapyeong which is the best activity to do first. Can all be done in one whole day? I went nami early morning, by itx. Then zipline into nami. Then hang around until 1+, then to gangchon for 2.30pm cycle. I was in rush to reach gangchon, so took taxi.. Lol mahal
*
Did you book your slot in advanced for Gangchon? I think doable if we can reach Gapyeong as early as 8am and go to see Nami first, and rail bike. Have anyone try Rail bike first and then to Nami?

i going to jeju on march
you driving there? i very confuse with their bus system  rclxub.gif
*
First time i went to jeju took bus from airport to Seogwipo where my hostel is located. End up just pusing2 around Seogwipo only by foot, dont bother to take the bus until 3rd day heading back to airport for Seoul.

2nd time yes rent a car straight for the airport and we pusing whole island easier. Rent for K3 even upgraded to K5, very happy indeed. But driving during snowing aint that easy slippery road and all.

Hi, any specific activities can be done around Seoul during spring time?

Going to Seoul for cherry blossom reaching on 27th but i realized peak time will be early april only unless i wanna go southern part like Busan and Gyeongju.

What are other new places can be visited around Seoul, just wanna add up to my itinerary other than common places people would go. Fyi, this is my 7th time to Seoul, coming just for their food though haha.

Hi,

Spring is one of the wonderful season to travel in Korea. If you like nature, many flowers are blooming during this time and surrounding starts to become colorful and warmer in the day. I live in Korea and spring is one of my most favorite moments around the year.

What do Koreans do during spring ? You might see some events for spring festival organized by the town hall. There are many such events during the weekends mostly held at the park or by the river. Koreans like to do day camp / picnic at the park and enjoy spring scenery. Mountain hiking is popular too during this time .

Try not to focus only on cherry blossom as they are many other flowers to enjoy during the day. It will be raining during this season so try to avoid visit cherry blossom park after rain. Cheers
*
Yes such suggestion is what i need to listen, i plan to go Sokcho as well hopefull not that cold anymore during early april. I will check for related festival, events happening during the week i’ll be in Seoul. Thanks for the heads up!

For those who drove at Jeju before,  did you have difficulty to drive there and caused damages to the rented car?
*
I had minor difficulty driving during winter time because of snow and slippery roads but encountered no problem and damages to the car. Make sure u rented car and select the full coverage insurance for peace of mind. I went for AJ car rental company, chose K3 but got free upgraded to K5 haha.

Thanks for sharing.
Yeah AJ price is very competitive.
I will be there early next month, therefore thinking if necessary to get full coverage or risk to opt out.

Just get, its a must. Even a tiny scratch later on you might be charged, so dont take any chances.
