Not yet at Tokyo, but now at Kyoto and it's damn cold ( 2 degrees ), forecast last week was off because these few days suddenly snow again.
I can tahan body and leg cold, kinda enjoy in fact but my hands are freezing like no tomorrow. Lucky I brought waterproof boots so my feet are fine.
Time to utilize those heat pad ( hand warmer )

I'm going to Osaka 1st of feb, I've totally forgotten about wifi getting from locals.
I've checked most locals one also not available anymore.. Is wifi router/sim easy to get in japan when I first reach?

I saw the travelrecommends from klia not available on 1st of feb.
Do you get it elsewhere? I heard from my colleague that data sim in japan airport many vendor.
So I'm really not sure now..

You don't need ultra warm heattech. But then some people memang cannot tahan cold wan so I dunno. If I wear ultra warm, I'll probably get cook alive

DisneySea ya? My gf went Disneyland in HK, so she wanted to go DisneySea this time. I'm abit skeptical about rollercoasters, is still bearable right? Too fast I scare I pee in pants.

Just wondering, where you guys got your tickets? I'm planning on buying it from klook. Wanna see if there's any other ways to get it cheaper..

It's always a balance between convenience (of not lugging around a lot of gear) and quality of the photos you get. In the end you need to ownself decide where to put that balance lol. Anyway for example this photo of me and my wife (that time was GF) was taken with a tripod and DSLR with wide angle lens.



[edit] if you decide not to lug around a tripod (because it really is VERY annoying to travel with one), you can consider using those gorilllapod instead

Was planning to fly again to Tokyo by end of November. Do you guys think there will be snow during this time? I haven't bought the ticket yet, but I need to prepare if there is possibilities lol

I experienced 6'C when I was at Halloween street party. I would say, I dont have enough cloth at that time. Shaking all night long hahahahaha raining, windy, night time, with tshirt and sweater, jeans, shoes, gloves and cap. Still not enough

True    I can tahan single digit degree cold with just fleece tees + thin rain coat, but my hand cant    also my head ( shaved ) 

Disney has something called FastPass for certain ride, which is not for sale. You need to collect them at the FastPass kiosk for free, but first come first serve basis. The pass will specify what time range (example :10am - 10.30am) where you can just go straight into the ride.

There are some other restriction as well on this (can't hold multiple ride pass at same time , fastpass cooldown etc.). Do google for more info on this if you want to arrange your time to ride all the ride there.

And there's a Disneysea app as well in Google Store Japan that allow you to see the status of ride, waiting time and even the fastpass status of those ride. recommend to download that.

First time goin to Tokyo nxt month. Arrival time is 10.30pm, abit concern if can make it to the city or not with train. Any sifu can advise if normally need to spend one night in Haneda or not. (which we dont want to)

Ahh but its indeed a risk in my first trip, landed 30min earlier than expected but was stuck in immigration for pretty long. We managed to catch the last train (my friend said so). Perhaps it'll also have to depend which day of the week you land, as I believe the train operates differently on a weekday/ weekend.

Ehhhh really? Now I know hahaha. But AA's Tokyo flight timing isn't the best, I'm always worried its delayed.
