QUOTE(nuel92 @ Feb 10 2017, 08:35 AM) What is the different between tokyo tower and tokyo skytree tower? 2 different tower with 2 different view and 2 different attraction at 2 different location. But if u want to see both towers, go to the tokyo metropolitan government building at Shinjuku This post has been edited by Azuma-kun: Feb 10 2017, 08:47 AM

QUOTE(sacwoc @ Feb 20 2017, 02:14 PM) If I know I will be rich! The snow that happen last year Nov in Tokyo was like first time after more than 50 years. Also seldom there is big snow in Tokyo. Its better you prepare the possibility of earthquake rather than snow.... When I went last year, me and my group were hoping there is an earthquake lol. So thick clothes should be fine right? No need winter clothes.

QUOTE(sacwoc @ Feb 20 2017, 02:53 PM) Nov you might not really need thick clothes. It should be around 10C and not as cold as Jan or Feb. Sometimes it can be even in 20C as well. I was in Shibuya during Halloween street party last year, for me, it's already damn cold. So yeah, I need thick clothes.

QUOTE(MR_alien @ Feb 21 2017, 09:06 AM) it snowed for 1 day and the snow didn't stay at ground if u want to experience snow, i suggest u go hokkaido straight instead Nah..it's not I want to play with snow anyway. I just dont want to be freezing all day long. The reason I asked was to prepare the clothes, not to play with it

QUOTE(JIEZZ @ Mar 1 2017, 10:41 AM) arrive tokyo on 4 march. straight next day go odaiba. hope gundam still there. huhu. btw, is halal food in tokyo expensive? anyone have try? Quite expensive but manageable. There are a lot of halal food restaurants around Tokyo. I usually eat soba and ramen at Asakusa, Yoshinoya, some kebab stalls at Akihabara and Asakusa, Chicken-man something at Ueno. I tried my best to avoid Arab/Turkey restaurants because I dont feel like eating Arabic foods in Tokyo. I heard there are few muslim restaurant in Shin-Okubo. Didn't go there because I spent my time the most at Shinjuku. I spent nearly ¥40000 for 10 days. That was for snacks, drinks, meals.

An update for the Gundam statue in Odaiba. CODE Thank you, RX-78-2 Gundam! And it’s the beginning of a new era!
The life-sized Gundam statue that has been standing in DiverCity Tokyo Plaza since 2012 was taken down on March 5, 2017 (Japan time). The Gundam has become somewhat of a staple to the Odaiba area, attracting many Japanese and international fans.
However, there is good news!
Starting in the fall of 2017, the life-sized statue of the Unicorn Gundam will be on display! Also, a complex featuring Gunpla, “The Gundam Base Tokyo,” will open. It is the first facility in Japan to feature the popular plastic models!
We’ll announce more details soon, so please look forward to them!

QUOTE(uk9089 @ Apr 5 2017, 03:09 PM) Based on the schedule, I'll be reaching Haneda Airport at 10.30pm. Will I able to reach train to Shinjuku before the last train (1am)? Hopefully, there's no delay on the Airasia flight. How about the passing the immigration? Does it take long que? Possible but you have to run here and there. Take the aiport bus to shinjuku. Orange color bus. I took that bus to Ginza last time.
