RM198k for 800sqft seems to be much more affordable than PR1MA whereby units are RM300k-400k for 900sqft+.

How many units are there per floor for this Rumawip, and how many lifts are there?

ya...this is like godsend...unexpected price in this location...those who are eligible to apply, is worth all the hassles to go get the info, submit whatever docs...doesn't matter whether how low the chances of getting it...just do it! If you never try, you never know...
Good luck to all!

Yes, price is surely attractive and useful for those who find PR1MA too costly. When I accompanied my daughter to the unit selection at PR1MA Alam Damai, there were many complaints on the high price at at RM300k-400k. Most are expecting around RM200k+/- but at this price it can only get the studio unit for PR1MA.

If the location of Wangsamas is suitable for the prospective buyers, then this should be a good choice and as you say godsend for those who are looking at an affordable property during this difficult times when private properties are mostly RM500k+.

spoken to one of the agent..

here's what seems to be the catch

those who have the money to pay 15k in advance have higher chances to ballot for the unit..
those who don't have that 15k, applies thru the rumawip and submit to DBKL, will just have to wait for answer... god knows how long

anyone else applied? thinking of submitting application soon

Apply thru developer or thru DBKL both same still need to pay 10% d/p because you need to liase with bank for the home loan. But i'm kind of agree apply thru developer might have higher chances to secure the unit compared thru DBKL. You guys know la how "effecient' they are.

I didnt agree. If you submit through dbkl 10% downpayment only valid when you pass the evaluation process (maybe take 2 months time) and successful to get the unit. Means that you have TIME to prepare the money.

But through developer you bypass the process. Means you lock the unit first by doing it (payment 10%). The problem is to those who need time to prepare the money and the poorest one. Maybe need to borrow from family and whatsoever. Theyneed time

I remember puchongmas also require those who submit doc to developer directly to pay 15k check when submitting doc.

Paying 15k check does not mean u got a unit but to queue for balloating.

Is it? I thought after paid 15k n submit all document consider you already secure the unit. Given that you eligible based on t&c

For taman naga emas rumahwip, if there is a slot and u pay 15k when submitting docs mean u choose and secure a unit but not for puchongmas project if not mistaken.

Try check back puchongmas thread

Maybe for puchongmas only. Buat for wangsamas you booked the unit when you pay the deposit. As a proof they will give you one form taht mention about 1 unit reserve and your name.
