QUOTE(incubus_skj @ Nov 29 2019, 08:34 AM) 12-45 pro? For what? Kan dah ada 12-40 And I doubt the size gonna be any smaller if they're putting it under the PRO line QUOTE(Someonesim @ Nov 29 2019, 10:54 AM) Still speculation but Robin Wong speculate it's f4. His reason are there's holy trinity f2.8 lenses in Canikon DSLR lineup, which Olympus already have, AND there's trinity f4 lineup as well, so Olympus will fill the void. Hopefully more compact and friendlier price tag. QUOTE(COOLPINK @ Nov 29 2019, 01:24 PM) My guess is that it will be smaller than the existing 12-40mm f2.8. To be fair, 380g is nowhere near the range of lightweight. Panasonic's 12-35mm f2.8 is only 300g. If they are making it weigh around 200g to 250g, there may be an actual market for it. Plus it is waterproof which is a plus.Having said that, F4 is really meh. I won't be able to use this for indoor events shoot. So looks like it is an outdoor travel lens mostly. QUOTE(huislaw @ Nov 29 2019, 01:05 PM) Pelik bin aneh. If look at the roadmap, there's 'bright prime lenses' in the PRO range. Dont expect better than f1.2 so our guesses are f1.8 PRO ( weather seal, better coating and IQ )Was hoping for 1.8 primes that are PRO and weather sealed, lighter, smaller and cheaper than 1.2 series. QUOTE(Wild Honey @ Nov 29 2019, 09:16 PM) Can lar, but bulky lor. Plus, I think the 12-100mm alone would take up all the space in my small bag Still better than 12-40 + 40-150 what |

Sharing some of the good deals I found whilst touring on Shopee and Lazada (mostly Shopee anyway). Offer price is damn tempting!

QUOTE(huislaw @ Dec 10 2019, 09:06 AM) 😜😜QUOTE(huislaw @ Dec 10 2019, 07:52 PM) Consider good for a new unit. But if you are going for used unit, can get around 600-700 for almost new (less than a month used) as market is kind of flooded with 45mm f1.8.I actually bought my E-M5 Mark II from this shop almost a year ago. My lens arrived!
The lens is hefty! Really gives a premium feel. But the size is just slightly larger than the Panasonic 25mm f1.7. ![]() Compare the front element of the 56mm with other lens. It's huge! Clockwise from bottom left: Sigma 56mm f1.4, Olympus 17mm f1.8, Panasonic 25mm f1.7 and Olympus 45mm f1.8. ![]() Size comparison with Olympus 45mm f1.8, portrait lens comparison. ![]() So far am happy with it, will bring it for shooting my daughter soon. Will report back on the ergonomics, though initial impression is that it is slightly front heavy with the E-M5 Mark II. May be it's because most of my other lenses are feather weight. Would like to hear your feedback. I am interested to buy the siggy 56 mm. Any recommendations from sifus between this siggy or the oly 45mm pro or the pana 42.5 mm nocticron? I’m pairing it with the em1.2 body. I already have the 18, 45 non-pro and 12-40 mm pro. My 18 & 45 mm is paired with my pen-f. I am a casual shooter mainly vacation and family portraits. Thanks

Those focal lengths that you don't have yet |
