i think it's a fake post. meaning to say that guy doesn't stay at WS3 and the language seems made up to sound like some chinaman writing it.

Anyhoo... don't buy units facing highway. It will drive you bananas. or deaf. or both.

1st of all the whining is bout the noise when windows are opened up. And noise sudtantially reduced when windows r closed up.

Next argument in gc n fb mainly bout why didn't ppsb provide double glaze windows.

Let's brain storm a bit. If Windows r closed n less noise, how would double glaze windows help when u need air by opening the windows???

2ndly Mr. Lee claimed tat ws1 Ws2 owners oso suffering the same when many stood up said nope. How ironic 🤔

Well I'm just a janitor I hear the noise up down left right front back. Dun trust me. Go ask owners in ws1 Ws2 ws3. And hater gonna b hater. A buyer aka owner who doesn't do the homework b4 buying is somehow cutie to me. I blif all info were posted here since 3.5yrs ago.

Finally Mr. Lee claimed tat he was staying a nite there when all 4 units facing highway at his level r not even done up. Onli 1 approval was given to commence reno tomolo aka 18.12.18. Gd date. No???

So how to justify a nite stay in a bare unit without lights and fans??? Oh ya ac can do the job. My bad. Soli soli.

if the windows and sliding doors are not installed properly (meaning air tightness and the construction of the frame to windows as well), there will be noise. more annoying one will be the mat rempit style of racing, a sharp noise than suddenly break the air, or the gutless lori tried to climb uphill. its the sudden sound of noise is more annoying than constant noise

imagine, noise cant penetrate thru glass (or only very fine noise), they can however travel thru the gap btw glass and metal frame.

Just move in yesterday to this westside 3. The noise level from NKVE is unacceptable. Despite the non stop noise from NKVE. I were manage to fall into sleep because i were too tired.  Unfortunately,  I were wake up few time by the sudden loud noise midnight . Perdana park city management,  I appeal to you to apply to the authority concern for a sound barrier. I believe all westside 1,2,3 residence with unit facing NKVE were sweetly seriously suffered.  Also,  the noise from NKVE make the enjoyment of facilities useless.  You simply can't enjoy when the noise disturb you non stop

looks like you never stay in a condo next to busy highway before.

its ok de, your body just received noise shock. it will get a lot better later when your body got immune to noise.

oh,,and a glass of brandy night cap might just be what you need.

Bro Beancounter and Manutdgiggs, does double glaze windows really help alot to reduce the noise from highway? or it is still depend on the distance between the highway to the condo and the workmanship( gap etc) ...

Vely unfortunate in tis case there wasn't any argument or query bout the window or sliding door panels.

To b fair many owners if not heard fr all just yet hav agreed the panels r nicely done up. I hope my memory serves me well fr Wat I hav heard or read la.

Dun worry I'm a pretty neutral guy I won't take side but I just curious bout the claimed to hav stayed there overnight without lights n fans is amazing. At least to a janitor like me. 😅😅😅

Btw the fortunate part is I'm not an owner there so I care less bout the whining especially it came fr an adult 🙊🙊🙊

Well I would say let's tok fact n make a legal claim if product is differ fr Wat was promised. I dun think any1 ll promise no noise in the vely 1st place. And actually every1 has an option to choose park facing units. Oh ya those park facing ll hav the challenge of noise fr brooks construction hor. At least for another yr or 2.

Liddat how la???

double glaze windows not only reduce.....its almost 99.90% sound insulation from the outside world.
try book 4hrs of sleep at any transit hotel at changi. you will be forgiven for not knowing just outside yr 'windows, there is one plane just took off.

otherwise try book a night at a good hotels. maybe Hilton or le meridien. you will be amazed.

I was lucky enuf to stay for one week at Vortex. to my surprise even for my constant negative views of monoland's product, the unit at vipod is very well insulated. mind you vortex is almost like glass wall, from ceiling to floor. Also southview of Bangsar South, Alila/the establishment.

wat not happied is Getaway residences and to some extend, Tropicana Garden. Maybe the construction of the office block and the mall do have some impact.

yes quality of glass, the frame that encased the glass and the quality workmanship that installed the panel are all very important. as most noises are travelled thru the gap and not thru the glass panel.

To clear allall the doubt posted.,  I must clarifify more details.

Immediately after collecting my key last Saturday, I bring my own floor light, stand fan and some necessary items to my unit for testing the condo living here.

Everything is fine here and up to my standards of expectations except the noise pollution in my units as well as the facility level.

The window done a good job in noise insulation.i have No complain on these issue.

Nevertheless, I am kind of person who like enjoy fresh air. I open all window when I go toto sleep.

Anyone who still have any doubt that this is a fake post can pm me. I am more thent willing to clear your doubt

Deck 4 is no doubt the least preferred unit. On ur left u hav Sofiya and brooks noise for the next 1 or 2 yrs. Straight ahead is Wat u dislike but at vely low flr ur impact is not as bad as the higher flr units. It sounds more on ur threshold or tolerance.

In tis case Wateva glass suggested would not do the job. I blif u hav read the pro comments in gc. And in the event u wish to sell as u voiced out in fb there is another ws3 buyer willing to explore. Maybe u can try ur luck in gc.

Gd day 😊

Thanks for enlighten me. Kinda think of it, I stay at crown beside changi few years ago and you are right, could not really heard the plane taking off or down literately.
