What version of iphone is your spouse's phone?

(for iPhone 5 or newer)Plug the iPhone into the pc and use iTunes to backup. Then go to ipsw.me to download the latest version of iOS 10 for the iPhone, once downloaded go to iTunes (the device page) then shift+ click on check for updates. You'll now see a file dialog where you can select the ipsw file that you've downloaded. Agree to the terms and conditions and let it update. Be sure to do a backup just in case it fails. Have this issue on my iPhone 5 when it doesn't detect iOS 10.3.1 update(both Ota and iTunes) (from iOS 10.3), tried this and it updates successfully

Just a quick check first, is your spouse's phone a first hand official unit that has never been jail-broken before?

It was on 9.3.2 (13F69)

I did that on his pc, it says errror 4 and software won't load. Stuck on itunes logo. When try to restore/update from there nothing happens. I think it was because his pc was 32 bit cause when I checked to download latest iTunes version it only has 64bit by default. The backup I did wasn't even recognised. Had to use my macbook pro to download/install software package.

It is. I think i found the problem. It was his iTunes version i guess. Because of his old pc 32bit(?) cause when download then had to search like in iTunes history (given iTunes download was for 64bit). after install update using my macbook pro then only can. Now he's got to start anew cause haven't tried restore backup yet 😅


Thanks all sifus for help next I wanna see if can successfully restore from backup from his pc. So many pictures in there (our wedding etc) 😬 All the apps are no prob I guess

Has anyone experienced a bug whereby there is notification sound but nothing appears on the screen? It is as though the notification was triggered randomly.

10.3.2 pretty annoying update.. and keep hanging.. if any way to downgrade to 10.3.1 or new 10.3.3 i love to changed it..

Apple stopped signing iOS 10.3.1 a few days ago which means no downgrade, iOS 10.3.3 public beta 5 can be installed now but keep in mind it's a beta so bugs to be expected.

10.3.3 PB 5 is rock solid actually. It also might be a GM release awaiting final from Apple.

10.3.3 seems work fine to me on ipad air 2.

Downgraded from ios 11 due to many obvious bugs occurred.

My only gripe about 10.3.2 is only until now they have yet to fix the personal hotspot issue where sometimes hotspot cant be detected at all through wifi.

upgraded to 10.3.2, feel battery draining very fast

iphone 5 with 10.3.2. this is the first time I'm running issue on iphone reboot unexpectedly and return into boot loop. need to press home+ON button to make it work again.

by the way any experience on IP5 with speedtest/fast.com on Wifi slower than android devices? I have tested my IP5 multiple times got same speed 30 mbps+++ but android devices (about 4 of them) got all above 50 mbps++. even on the old galaxytab2 10.1.

is this the sign of the IP5 wifi chip failing?

Try a hard reset and restore.

The model of the Ip5 is of an older modem and version and will definately run slower than the latest phones with latest hardware right now. Simple to say, its time to change.

seriously? even my old galaxy tab 10.1 P7500 wifi speedtest is faster than my ip5?

One more reason to change your phone now

suddenly I'm feeling my battery drain so fast

last time used can stand up to 24hrs with 7/8 hrs of usage per day

now barely 12hrs with same usage

I thought that would be facebook or WhatsApp problem
