My 6S Plus is doing fine. Battery life is no worse than before and no noticeable lag compared to 9.3.5

Good to know that! Asked two of my friend tht using SE, and overall is good, one of my friend using 6S having issue with battery drop too fast and get spike a lil bit when scrolling, not always though.

Let indexing run for awhile & a cold reboot might help.

No difference between 10.0.1 and 9.3.5 on my old iPhone 5. It was already a bit jerky on 9.35 anyway, and I don't really see anything worse on 10. Actually, I think it might be even a bit smoother once the initial indexing is done, though that might just be placebo on my part. Not perfect, but not bad for a 4 year old phone. Just try not to have too many widgets running and remove all the unnecessary apps from Spotlight search.

Not bad for a 4 year old phone. Can't imagine Samsung providing any updates for Galaxy S3 biggrin.gif

Its a very different platform for android phone as each manufacturer customize their own version of android for their own specific phone where Apple uses the same platform for all their iphones.

You have a point. Would one of the older nexus devices (vanilla android) fare better though? (I've never used a nexus before)

In terms of updates, YES. User experience I would say no.

But the beauty of it that you can customise further to reduce the os size of android though.

I have a question to ask, when I swipe to the right at home screen, there are a lot of Widgets, one of them is "NEWS".

I can't find any NEWS app to add news. Is it this NEWS is not available in Malaysia?

Well, everything would have its pros and cons. So this will depend on how you like your android. Customization is the no 1 advantage android has over IOS.

I think NEWS apps still not available in Malaysia. No setting and don't know where it came from.

Besides, I don't know how NEWS widget is working. Its shows news from Borneo Post, the Malay Mail which i never read it. Anyone can teach how to change it..?
