- Definitely nailed the dystopian setting, CDPR definitely did their research and put their own spin on it here.
- Not afraid to show violence and nudity. I hope they don't shy away from this.
- The AI count on the game is going to be pretty freaking incredible considering it'll be out on current-gen consoles. Those poor, weak-willed Jaguar CPUs coping with the AI in such a dense city? Yeah. There is some serious wizardry stuff going on here.
Things I'm not so sure about:
- The whole "story driven gameplay" thing is well... let's just put it this way, like pretty much every game that has a narrative story branch advertises how your decisions shape the story. But in reality, you're still really only reaching the same 3 or so endings based or a few major decisions. CBP2077 is being advertised that the quests you take and how you do them impacts everything around you, that is definitely a monumental task to carry out and I'm not sure if they can. Every game that has promised "story driven gameplay" has not reached a true dynamic story system.
Things that I don't like:
- The whole gunplay looks very weak. They sound and look like bb guns, almost akin to Fallout. There is nothing euphoric looking about blowing someone's legs off with a plastic gun. They should check out how Dredd does guns.
this thread is damn dead for such a highly anticipating game... faint.
because there were not lot of promotion / advertisement / trailer that come out lately.Yes it is a highly anticipating game, but other games also come out and the hype is going down. They only need to release new trailer/gameplay preview to get the hype back.
I didn't play long on the PS5 since I just got it from Sony HK but theres already quite some noticable upgrades compare with the vanilla PS4 .
It does seem to be sharing the same resolution as PS4 pro which is around 1200p-1440p . The textures streaming of objects also load faster on PS5 in the first mission with Jack .
Oh the best thing , it seems to have uncapped framerate where the PS5 can hit 60 fps when you are indoor .

Play for 10 minutes and the game bricked my ps4 slim.
Digital Foundry did a review on this and the conclusion is it was almost unplayable on PS4 vanilla atm , dipping down to 720p and hitting as low as 16 FPS especially when you are driving around the city . It makes the vehicle chasing scenes really jerky and much harder to aim .
Also seems to be severely downgraded on textures details and other aspects compare with the PC version which is not surprising considering this is late-gen AAA .
The PS4 pro seem to run the game better , locked 30 fps in door albeit sharing some of the problems with vanilla PS4 .
