With HDR and all the visual effects turn on, changing into menu and maps often slow the game into a crawl and crash in PS4 Pro.

Seems better after turning HDR and some effect off.

Just got my copy today. Now installing the game on my PS5. Going to test the console custom ssd to the max

Image Quality seems to have received some upgrades post patch 1.04 .

Textbook Example of a game that shouldn’t be played on launch for console.

Will wait till next gen updates are released, bugs are fixed and priced at 50% or lower the current price.

The game is worth every single penny , per se .

There are a lot of bugs and glitches but given the amount of content this game has , it should not be a surprise .
Given CDproject's track records , I am not worried on the bugs and glitches . I am fairly sure they will eventually iron out most of it like they did with Witcher 3 ..



Problem is just the PS4 is struggling really hard to fit the whole game into its 6 - 7 years old hardware . I am not sure it will ever be smoothly playable on PS4 ./

The situation is less severe on PS4 Pro after the latest patch . There are still hiccups here and there but I think the PS4 PRO should be perfectly capable of running the game given a few more optimization patches .

After the latest patch , the game seems to have hit a really sweet spot on PS5 , almost fully locked 60 fps [ obviously don't compare it with game running on PC & Rtx 3090 ].

Short answer no it’s not worth it. Especially if you’re on OG/Slim PS4. Performance is mediocre

Other than that the game is a buggy mess. A little here and there is fine, but there are parts where it really kills the mood and story-telling

The most annoying is when enemies are stuck in walls/elevators

Also just encountered a bug where when you speed up on a bike, V stands up with having no pants on (literally butt-naked)

Play it now only for the lols, play it later if you really wanna immerse yourself

27 hour into the game, alot of crash and frame rate dropping and A LOT OF BUGS eventho its 1.4 patch LOL still having fun

The game is fun and got me hooked. If you can get past that it is a damn buggy mess. Am running on a Ps4pro.

To those who are contemplating on getting this now, i'd suggest holding off that intention for a couple more months. Unless you really dont mind the bugs and all.

The resolution of the game on PS5 has been bumped up to pseudo 4k [ 2176 x 1224 ] and 60 FPS after the latest patch 1.04 .

Texture details have also been improved , it is looking much better than the PS4 vanilla version now .

Yeah, agree on holding the purchase if you can wait.

In PS4 pro, with crashes a few times if you switch between menu and gameplay often, like checking for the side mission and back to the world. I think my case the game crash due to loading from HDD, when roaming between mission there is no loading screen. Plan to update to SSD and see how it goes.

But I’m still having fun 😂 some of the LOL moments when there is a floating cig in the middle of the screen or the enemy NPC is caught at the elevator door, next you see it flew out of the building 😂😂

Haha yeah this. Evelyn Parker was smoking a few cig, everytime she finished one cig, it just floats there. By the end of the scene there were 3 cig floating

I have sent an email to CD Red Projekt to request a refund, lets see how it goes.

Another funny bug is when you meet Vik for the first time, your pants dissappear while youre on the chair lol welp
