well the entering gym problem im also facing as well keep on lagging at the "3 2 1 Go"

Mine 3,2,1 smooth but stuck at GO for a few second but still can play smoothly after that.

seems like others are experiencing weedle's power in making the app hang as well.

Starting to feel nothing special with Snorlax already. I caught like 7 but only 1 is beyond CP2k. The rest has really retarded CP, as low as CP40.

My >80% IV Snorlax is CP1k only. What's the point? Walk 20km just to power up by 40CP? Absolutely not worth it.

Rather hunt Dratini & grow it into CP3k Dragonite. It's a much more reliable method.

This Halloween event is a good time to walk your Snorlax or Dratini for candies

snorlax is still a better mons as gym defender compare to Dragonite

Well, it's a decent consolation but if it's floats your boat, good for you.

Dragonite yes is the best on both attacker and defender on most website (based on stat)
but in real life a Dragonite are useless in both atk and def
atk only with good move set u can do some dmg
def gg.com i once take down a 2.5k Dragonite with my 1.5k golduck as long as u got ice move Dragonite can bungkus ady

while snorlax is another story as they got batter HP which u need more dps to take down
and snorlax only weakness is fighting but we all know fighting mons is not many out there.

but Dragonite is good for a gym sitter due to high cp can go high rank in gym which can let u stay longer in a gym

I'm gonna walk my Lapras because Lapras are more rare than Dratini and Snorlax

As much as I love Dragonite, walking with Snorlax during this event is more worthy mainly due to the fact that Dratinis can be farmed (even more so with double candies now) but not Snorlax.

True in a way... manage to find any place with has high and frequent spawn rate? TQ.

first look, seems to be faster/less laggy, my processor actually can just barely play PoGo but now it seems better overall. must fight gym to test

other minor changes:
-opening pokemon bag (not pokedex) now slightly slower as there's a new animation.
-when pokemon spawn there will be a small circle on the ground before it appears.
-splash page for Halloween event
-font changes

Hi guys, just recently return playing Pokemon go, just need some opinions on which to evolve as I have enough candies for 1 evolve only. Help!!!

CP689 evolves to CP1.5~1.6k arcanine
CP480 evolves to CP1~1.1k arcanine

i'd go with the higher CP.. iv% is not all that important

or, u could buddying one of yr growlithes until 100 candy, evolve both. then u can decide which to keep & which to grind depending on the skillset

Agree....if got correct skillset with high CP then good enough. I got a cp1.6k exeggutor can win 3 battle at the gym if u use if correctly....iv only 58%.
Skillset is very important. If u dont have a perfect mons....either go for
High iv with correct skillset or
High cp with correct skill.
Today i use a low cp flareon with correct skill and 89% iv....can win a 2.2k Lapras but my flareon almost ko
And i also got a 100% iv Nidoqueen with bad skillset.....very hard to win a battle....use it for defend only

I have to agree with 1qaz1qaz.

There's so many under 2K CP mons that with the right moveset, can take out a 3K dragonite quickly.

Lapras, slowbro, dewgong, cloyster, blastoise with ice moves.... wigglytuff and clefable.

But to fight snorlax... always have to use a high cost similar CP mon for a slow and painful grind.

My 2 cents is to wait for better growlithes and more candy.

I got trolled dunno how many times... at least 5-6 evolutions before I get one with the best moveset (Firefang/ fireblast).
