me too no upgrade as of yet ... so far I'm missing Sunflora and Blossom (dont know which to evolve coz only 1 sunstone), Porygon 2 and good Tyranitar ..

really regret that I powered up gym defender Lapras.

should have powered up the gym attacker Lapras.

Now that gym defender Lapras can neither stay in gym nor attack.

I saw one gym, always beaten down to one pokemon, which is usually Blissey CP 3000.

Really annoying!! I always place my pokemon there but some bastard just like to bring it down to 1 pokemon, without the intention of taking over.

Speaking of D9.. slowpoke here but finally caught a dragon tail outrage. Its very powerful, outrage charge so fast but i feel like db/dc still the better move. Dt/or get caught by those dazzling gleam in mid move all the time.

What do u guys thing?

Blissey's nice but they're also not difficult to take down these days.

You got 3.3K DB DC dragonites no? just spam and make sure dodge those dazzling gleam can di.

IMO yes. Machamp technically can take Blissey down faster but...

- It's a biatch to get the right moveset. Counter/Dynamic punch or Counter/Close Combat else its useless
- Have to power up at par or very close to Blissey level
- Dodges have to spot on since except Pound/Hyperbeam, other blissey combination of moveset will be SE against Machamp.


On another note... after catching some D9 and tragedy with RNG on evolution. I've just spent some time on the gym to tryout the new movesets.

Share some thoughts.

Dragon Tail/ Outrage - Easily the best of the lot. DT charges Outrage damn fast in just a couple of attacks. Dmg output devastating but often get caught by body slam and dazzling gleam while dragon tailing.

Dragon Tail/ Hurricane - Meh. Hurricane feel very underwhelming.... I don't think this will beat Blissey. Dunno why gamepress ranks this as A.

Dragon Tail/ Hyperbeam - Feels almost exactly like Hurricane just hurricane cool down faster but most of the time, both move also not fast enough to avoid damage.

Steel Wing/ Outrage - Tragedy. Real tragedy. Might as well use exeggutor or vaporeon.

Dragon Breath/ Outrage on Kingdra - Joy of joys. If D9 ever gets this moveset combo it will be OP af.

I'm glad my room is in between 2 PokeStops .. I get to keep spinning those PokeStops .. one of them dropped a Dragon Scale just awhile ago ..

Have spun lots but the Upgrade is still so elusive

How do u guys obtained the specific item for evolve?

I never received from any pokestop so far.

Just try the Cloyster ice shard / Avalanche combo. its not the best move set, cos blizzard is legacy for cloyster.

surprising, its quite good, espacially the avalanche against D9.

exactly what I suspected, definitely DB/OR is the best combo.

I tried using Gyarados to attack with DT, but almost impossible to dodge attacks from defenders.

DB/OR combo only happens on Kingdra. Dragonites can't get DB anymore.

Yeah...I've used it again to train on my ZH/DG Blissey of roughly same CP... once lag/misdodge will be very punishing. 2 DG will kill it.
