Definitely. As general sweeper ie take out mulitple defenders fast, they're awesome. Just need a couple of higher dps dt/or ones to tank through blisseys.

I'm just gonna sit here and gloat about my 2x sunstone, 3x kings rock, 2x metal coat, 1x dragon scale RNG gods good to me

Of course, based on my luck with gen 2 babies, I'll probably only get Upgrade item by the time gen 3 comes out

I find even DB/DC can comfortably take out Blissey, even minimal dodging
except for the Dazzling Gleam ones, those are tough
DB/DP seems to have better overall DPS though

Damn, got my first tyranitar today. Evolved got bite/fireblast. Its ok la, at least got one for my pokedex. Prefer iron tail/crunch for gym defender. If i max it out on lvl 32, gonna have 3300cp++. Nice 😁

Yes of course it can but cannot take out 2.

With the blissey meta, theres more and more situations i have to dig into my B team.

So my strategy is 3x dc/db for sweeping the lower tier defenders and a couple dt/or for those 3.1k blisseys.

maybe so but it can't be Twister gyarados kind of bad.

I think maybe half candies for evolve during the special event, so maybe 12 candies for pupitar, 50 candies for Tyranitar. Same as Dratini.

I have a iv88 cp3018 DB/DC D9, thinking is it worth powering up because it only has Atk 13. Would like to hear your opinion.

I prefer the DB lo .... the DT is really slow....

at IV88 you would probably want to save yr candy. unless it is 95 and above.

from 88 to 95, its a 7% difference.

considering max CP of 100IV d9 at max level of 3530, a 88IV will give you on 3480 CP.

just flip my 7-day streak and... no evo items
oh well

IMHO, you don't need to power up much further beyond 3k, your dust/candy is better spent powering up another good d9 to reach 3k.

If it's worldwide then they would need have few locations for each region or at least one for each country which could be a logistics nightmare if niantic wants to make it an event / gathering of ppl. My best guess is if worldwide, one location in Americas, Europe and Asia (Japan). If not it's going to be like times square like in the trailer.

As ccschua pointed out... IV is important if the intention is to max it out.

My current top 3 DB/DC are all maxed out

98% IV - 3390
93% IV - 3376
73% IV - 3293

97CP between the lowest IV and highest IV doesn't seem like its much difference but the difference cost 40 candies + 32K stardust.

Again... it only matters if the intention is to max it out.

For your case.... DB/DC legacy move di. No need to think... max it out lor.
